Yes HPT main event should be week before super bowl when no nfl games are being played. Enjoy the second nationally televised event at thunder inside of 5 months.

I hope I can enjoy it, but if it's the same as what they just ran I won't be.

Wow you really think it was unplayable? What two things bothered you most that make it unplayable even with over a million in prize pool for the week?

Smoke?
Crowded tables and area?

Dude, it was the worst ran 1k+ event I've ever played and the smoke and noise was unbearable, but I won't miss the next one, just look for the guy with the ear muffs and SARS mask sitting behind a mound of chips.

Again, I don't think that the individual employees are bad, they are mostly just confused, under informed, and under prepared. Step it up TVC, your customers deserve better.

FYP. But yeah, agreed.

It's great that the Sacramento valley finally has worthwhile poker tournaments but that doesn't mean that the numerous mistakes made by Thunder Valley and its employees should be excused or accepted.

How many players does the $150 - 1st Sunday tournament get at Casino Royale? And does this have an ante structure?

CeJeh

You did say unplayable. You said you wouldn't be back if it was ran the same.

And I did read the thread that's the problem. Trying to narrow down the 765 complaints to the top two.

I don't know how many royale will get for the Sunday $150. Truth is the last time I showed up for a tournament at cr there were ZERO runners. But hey No smoke inside!!!
Wasn't too crowded either.

Can't tell you how they would run a $1k+ event.

Last time I was there they only had about 4 poker tables. Despite the smoke free atmosphere that makes it unplayable. I mean literally I couldn't play because I was the only one there to play in the tournament.

Let me know how many they get. If They add 6 tables and get 100+ Runners I would consider trying it again.

Four tournaments scheduled today at thunder valley as part of the new schedule. I will likely be playing in the 5pm.

Smoke is a common problem and one of the things I hate most about being in a casino.

Caesars Palace has one of the largest closed off poker rooms outside of the wsop setup but most of their events aren't that great aside from the wsop circuit.

I play all the time at aria and they are known for having some decent events. But during a larger series you are in the middle of the casino with a 3 foot high cloth rail.

We begged the floor man to move a couple smokers and a cigar from the rail and they couldn't do it. One thing Iike about TV they will move you immediately if they see you lighting up on the rail.

But moving them doesn't help. I smell like I've been to hell and back every time I come home. Wonder what the inside of my lungs look like.

No, you're wrong. I never said it was unplayable. You're putting words in my mouth. You're either an employee that's trolling hard or you're a really cronied out regular with reading comprehension issues.

And by the way, if you do work there, the whole "thinning out the field of 800 complaints to the top 2" thing is exactly the reason why there's still 800 ****ing complaints about the goddam place.

You'll be lucky to see 20. You're better off going to Cap and play in their $120+60 Add-on $5k guarantee.

Hey CeJeh

I'm not gonna argue with you. Sorry I misread your comments when you said you wouldn't come back if they didn't make changes.

I'm also done trying to help. So let it all be.

Lastly, anyone know why the new dealer tip deal didn't take effect yet?
I heard it has been kicked back to October 19th.

Wow, didn't know it would be that bad. How many players does Caps $220 2nd Saturday get? It says $20,000 Prize Pool (based on 100 entries), does this mean guaranteed?
