I miiiight be down. I wouldn't wanna play very high tho. Even tho we'll save on rake, I doubt playing in a rakeless table full of 2p2rs will be more profitable that at a raked out the ass, fish infested typical casino table.

I might be down for some real low stakes, but real deep game. Like quarter-quarter game w/ $100 min or somethin.

I'd be down. For low stakes also. Might not be very profitable, but it could help my game going against other grinders and/or 2+2ers

Sounds good. Maybe slightly higher blinds (.25-.50) with 100min 150max buy in.

I agree that playing with all 2p2ers would be a tough game, but good to play in.

But who hosts?

count me in for a home game, I say .25-.50 should be the minimum blinds.. if not .50-1.00

I use to play in a home game in West Sacramento that was open to anyone who was going to play in the tournament after the game generally 2 or 3 tables. was .25-.50 but may have been max of $50 buy in I'm not sure. was no rake or fees but you were asked to bring your own snacks. There was donation can for coffee and alcohol was not allowed. Was called Big Bills or something like that and may still be going.

On another note. I've found the games to be very juicy at tv on the weekends. But, I went in on a Tuesday, i think, and a wednesday a few weeks ago. That **** was dead. NOTHING but grinders. Tightest ****ing game i've ever been in and there was only one other table. And no 2/5 tables going....SO my question is: where's the place to go during weekday nights??

I think this has been answered ITT. It depends on what you want to play? for NL 1-2, 1-3, 2-5, or 5-10. I suggest you try a few & see where you feel the most confident. gl

Cash home games are a no brainer, and trust me, a group I play with we play .25 .50 and there was $2k in cash on the table at one point 9 handed. Point is they get juicy and these blinds allow for deep play.

If you guys are really serious about a monthly home game (cash) I can host. I have a custom table and lots of space, just had one on Sunday and ended up being over 2k on the table with .25 .50 blinds, was a ton of fun. PM if your interested and I'll set a date.

As far as home games go, I would be interested in playing a NL cash home game, but once I move into my new place next month I'm going to start hosting a mixed game and possibly starting up a WSOP qualifier league. I will post here when I start these up.

How would a qualifier league work? How much would the buy ins need to be?

Bill no longer hosts a game. He cut back after the first of the year to once a month, and recently decided he didn't want to do it at all anymore.

Not sure if this is the right place to place this, but I have a room for rent about 1 mile from the Lucky Derby. I play at the Derby pretty often, I'm Shaye (the black kid) I know most of the staff and players there. ANyways thought I'd shoot that in here...

In for a home game in Sacramento or nearby area. I'd suggest .5/1 100min, 200max. Also, I have a buddy who'd be down for similar limits.

We need to get this organized.

I only check 2+2 every other week these days, so if someone wants to email/facebook coordinate, my email is: rjustincarter AT hotmail DOT com

Can we put a poker table in it and charge enough rake to cover the rent?

I play at the Derby quite a bit. We've probably played together.

I disagree, I would think .25-.50 is going to be just fine.
