I've had similar experiences. But if you look at your total comp dollars, you can see clearly that you received more than what was indicated on the 'earned on the last trip' provided that you knew your starting balance.

We had a 7.50/15 (pink chip) HOSE game going tonight that went for at least a few hours. Did anyone play in it and enjoy it?

There were a few new faces coming from hold-em but the veteran mixed game players were more than happy to assist the new players on rules (not during hands, though!). It looked like it was a lot of fun to play and hopefully we can generate interest in running a more regular pink chip mixed game.

The guy who won the biggest portion gave him $1500 and everyone else gave him a couple hundred each.

I also heard he was saying right afterwards that he'd be happy if he got $2k. He wasn't upset at all and seemed genuinely happy for everyone else.

I'm too lazy to look up whoever it was that said it originally, but I apologize.
Except he should of been laughed at. I believe he said it was only open weekends. I was sitting in my room at the water club on a monday or tuesday when he posted. He was flat out wrong.

Anyone know how many runners they got for the new $40 + $10 + $10 blue chip bounty tournament on Tuesday night?

The Water Club is generally only open weekends during the off season, but is sometimes open on other days (holidays, etc.). No one should be laughed at for trying to provide helpful information.
You, however, possibly should be laughed at for showing your ignorance by making an insulting post with poor grammar and providing no useful information.

That's why I think if have someone has posted big & small blinds they sould be dealt in for the 1 orbit, if they are not back in time for their big blind, too bad. Unless you're dead, you gotta pee some time!

And those guys were cheep! $3k, they each got an extra $5500 for the guy going to take a leak, 500 from each of the 6 guys not in the hand would have made 3k by itself. True the hand wouldn't have gone the same if he was in the hand, ....but then no one would have hit the BBJ at that time..... bastard! I was coming down hit it! Couldn't he hold it in a few more min. ....LOL!

The poster I was referencing said the water club was only open on weekends in the winter. This is flat out wrong. I'm sorry I didn't let someone provide misinformation. I also don't find it necessary for anyone to apologize for correcting him. You seem to have mistaken who my post was directed at. I do agree I need to work on my grammar though.

the 5/10 games at the borgata I have played in have all been pretty decent. There are a bunch of regs at that time, but a lot of the regs aren't super tough IMO. I haven't been in about a year though.

Planning a last minute trip to AC. What are the chances of getting a poker rate for a Thursday(tomorrow)? Is there a better way to go about it than just calling the hotel and asking?

it doesn't get hit if he doesn't go to the bathroom. and if he'd been playing forever, he deserved his share. i'm just saying, if the BBJ is that high, are just supposed to sit there and piss ourselves?

Email from Borgata:
Participate in the $30,000 Guaranteed Friday tournament on March 2 at Noon and receive a $25 dining credit to The Metropolitan or Borgata Buffet*.

Thanks for ridiculing me, Borgata. I already know I can't make it. You don't need to start waving goodies at me to further taunt me.

I agree, as long as he didn't miss a blind. I'm not sure if he missed a blind or not.

That gets said all the time and it's tilting.

Statistically, it'll hit in a random hand no matter what. The #'s stay the same. Who's to say the BBJ wouldn't have hit the PREVIOUS hand had he been there and rec'd his two cards?

I'm ok with people thinking he should be cut in...and those that say GFY. I'm fine with either decision.

That being said, this has been argued a million times in the tipping thread and should prob be continued there.

If we had a time machine, I'd be willing to bet everything I own that it wouldn't have

If not for the math reasons, give him a better cut for the human reasons. As long as he wasn't a dooosh at the table, would have been cool if he got a little bit more. Everyone else giving him on average less than 300 apiece is laughable imo

Next time BBJ is that high I'm either pissing in a cup or at least trying to talk about this beforehand

This isn't right. The event did in fact happen. If he hadn't gotten up the chance of the BBJ hitting in the next 5 hands, or however may it would be, is whatever tiny percentage it would be.

So fine. People shouldn't say it "wouldn't" have happened. But it would have been exceedingly unlikely to happen, unlike the current state where it did in fact happen.

So if you really want to be nitty about it they should discount his share by the percentage chance that it would have been hit had he stayed. So by some amount under 1%.

That being said I wouldn't ever expect people to give me anything in this scenario. And I'm not sure I would give someone anything, because I would probably be negative freerolling (they wouldn't pay me if the situation was the other way around).

id also like to point out that i dont play poker for bbj and cant stand them
i think they should have an idiot box at the end of the table and every time you win a pot you can volentarily put a dollar in the box, press a button and have a chance at hitting a progressive jackpot
sorry not giving some random money from a forced lottery
if you really want to give money away give it to your friends/family who need it or to charity, not a poker player who is probably going to piss it away in the pit anyway
and lol at wouldnt have hit annway
next time someone goes to the bathroom and i drop 2k in a pot im asking him for a cut
how do you think that will go over?
