Wait a few days & comps might show up.

Last I heard- Tourneys still dont count toward comps.

But midweek(mon-thurs) during winter open- rooms are only $89-109 anyway

Sorry if this is a stupid question.
Simple as this, wake up, eat breakfast at the buffet (best breakfast buffet in AC and maybe only other then the weekend) get to the tables at 11, play till lunch, if you are going for 30-45 minutes leave chips on the table or leave if its a bad game, come back after lunch, do same for dinner, play 11am to 11 pm and there is your 12 hours if you don't take your chips from the table...at 1/2 NL you can walk around and take quick breaks if you need it and the don't clock you out, at 2/5 and higher its a time game so it would cost you $5-10 going to eat so its your choice

there are plenty of hot chicks walking around in skimpy dresses. borgata is the hot spot in the town and their two clubs are very popular. 9waitresses aren't bad but not as good as parx... but as for other patrons the talent is pretty good).

I asked others ITT what I needed to do to earn my comps back and was told (not by anyone associated with Borgata) that a 10 hour session at 2/5 should do the trick to bring back my weekday comps.

Stan was kind enough to arrange for a room and I made it down from 12/26 - 12/28, played in 3 tournaments and put in a 10 hour session at 2/5.

I just went to check my Rewards offers and sadly, am still not getting any comped days. I'm a loyal Borg player, and am not really interested in playing/staying anywhere else in AC. Are there any guidelines anywhere that definitively spell out what a poker player needs to do in order to earn regular room comps? I'd really like to come down for a week and play the Winter Main, but need to offset tourney buy-ins with cheap/comped rooms. I'm also curious whether or not the B has moved forward on crediting tourney players with some level of comps.
Stan pretty much spelled it out:

If you are referring to the tourney during the Winter Open, it will be upstairs in the event center like the other tourneys. The games during these series have always been awesome. You figure, you take the best poker room on the Eastern US anyway, and then dump 600-1000 more poker players on the property.Awesome..... Come play, good luck !! @EEBOB2072

Stan didn't say, but I suspect that on an existing card (as opposed to a new signup which probably gets some immediate encouragement to return), the consistency of play the system can see is also a factor. If you haven't been in a long time so all that's on your card is this one session, it has no way of knowing you're a loyal Borgian.

When all I had on my card was 8 hours or so in May, I had no comp nights. After I returned in August, Sunday - Thursday opened right up. Since then I've been more consistent and the offers have remained. It's a loyalty system, and it wants us to show first.

just to add some data to this... i used to go to borgata about twice a month to play 1-2 for about 5-8 hours each time. i always had weekdays comped. i didn't go for about 4 months and all my comps dissapeared. i went back this past saturday and played 8.5 hours of 2-5 and two days later my weekday comps returned.

Borgata has the best looking female patrons in AC. The nightclubs are well attended and then the girls are staggering around the casino floor afterwards. They are mostly young and even the ones who are not the best looking will still dress in the sexiest outfit they own.

Now, to be clear, none of these girls are ever in the poker room but you will see them when walking around the rest of the casino

Not true. I saw Paris Hilton traipsing through the poker room a few years back.

This $500 cap at borgata 2/5nl will not be increased. End of discussion

Search this thread for 'cap'. Some posts from June/July come up that are part of the discussion that occurred then.

you're missing the point. Borgata 2/5 is basically a shortstack game. I'm a 5/10 reg at Borgata but from time to time would prefer to sit in a 2/5 with a normal buy-in structure because I prefer playing deep, which is different than "big".

i almost always play the 2/5 at parx instead of the 10/10.

i wish the max was higher for the 2/5, but borgata does offer 3/5 which is 1000 max. if everyone that wanted the 2/5 game to be 1000max started the 3/5 games, i bet they would go off regularly- which would make everyone happy. why don't people start trying this?

I am under the impression that Borgata has $3/$5 no limit with a $1000 buy in. If the game is not running when you want to play, you should be able to start an interest list.

If people see the list, the $3/$5 should fill up in no time if this is a game that people would like to play.

amen, keep it the way it is, look how many 2/5 tables we have compared to any other casino in the east coast! We have the most 2/5 and not always the most total tables running, i.e Foxwood 40 tables 5 2/5 now...we have 22 tables 7 2/5...if it aint broke, don't fix it

You have a biased view as a 2/5 player. Parx consistently has more 1/2 than Borgata because Parx has a 2/5 game with a $1k cap. So do you think a 1/2 player would feel the same as you?

Now I think that in the long run more people playing 2/5 is better because that means more people might move to 5/10 (my game) and the rake is also easier to beat at 2/5 than 1/2. When I played 2/5 I hated Borgata's $500 max but we should probably stop talking about this because it won't change.

Also, 3/5 just never runs. So many recreational players don't know it exists so when it runs it's really reggy by 2/5 standards.

I don't want to hear this most 2/5 games in the country crap, the 2/5 tables have been declining at borgata.
You completely miss the point... It's easier for a weak 1/2 player to move up to 2/5 at the Borgata which makes it great for business, whether your business is running a game or playing in one.

How is this short stack? The game is 100bb. This is a standard for all online games with exception of deep stack tables. Very few people BI for less than $500, some may reload for less but most start with max bi.

No borgata makes more from you if you play 1/2 than 2/5.
