Played pink chip 8 mix last night. It was a lot of fun even though donated a decent amount. We tried to add 2.5-2.5 PLO with 150 CAP to the mix when it got 4 handed, but for some reason the Floor insisted that that if we wanted to add it then it had to be 7.5-15 PLO which sounds insane to me. It promptly ended the game. Other than that it was good times!

That was insane and next time ask for a shift manager. Sorry!

We asked for one actually. We were told they were busy counting the racks. Afterwards we talked to a shift manager about it and he was less than helpful and informative.

It was fun though and after we played a 2/5 NLHE/PLO 2-way for a few hours.

I really hope these lower stakes mixed games ( pink chip up to 20/40 ) keep gaining momentum. The 40/80 is just too big for me right now. . All it takes is 2 people willing to play heads up to get it going.

Hopefully I'll be back next week. Always willing to play short.

I have a question for anyone on these boards. Its not necessarily poker related, but it is Borgata related. I've got a group of 9 coming into AC in 2 weeks. We wanted to do a nice steak dinner, and we'll be doing most if not all of our card playing at the Borg.

So my question is which steakhouse would you choose: Old Homestead or Bobby Flay? Both are about equally priced, and both have a great wine list. So, which is better for the awesome steak dinner?

On a poker related note, have they been getting the 5-10 HOSE going lately? Is it possible to get started?

I prefer Bobby Flay, both for food and service. Old Homestead has more basic cuts of meat, BF has steaks with his spice mix.

A 7.50/15 mixed game has gone the last few weekends. I have seen a 5/10 one time but I think the 7.50/15 is more likely to go.
