In the colder months, you might be better off booking rooms at an off strip hotel, I know the Comfort Inn North is a decent enough place and the rates are really cheap right now. If you don't go every weekend, you might save money this way, and don't have to worry about utilities or any other expenses that may come along with renting an apartments.

If you do consider renting, take a look at some of the surrounding areas too, they are safer than AC and maybe cheaper in some cases if you are not close to a beach.

I'm coming down tomorrow.
I was gonna play 20 LHE, but with a BBJ of 218K, maybe I'll play something that qualifies.

Last I saw, you took 20 LHE and 10 LHE out of the BBJ......so what LHE generally runs and qualifies......is there an 8/16...or do I have to consider dropping to like 5/10 (not sure if i can do that)?

Also, what's the qualifier.....quads with a pair in hand or a straight flush using both cards?

Stan, has there been any thought of changing the 3-6 to a 4-8?
2 reasons (good for longterm game health) come to mind:
1) keep the games from cannibalizing
2) better springboard to the 10/20

Is there really that big of difference to players between 3/6 and 4/8? It seems almost the same to me, and the game might actually be beatable.

look at the game report, it only has 1 3/6. if you go to borgata, theres always a list for 4/8

Thought about it? Yes. When i was a manager in Tunica the main game was the 4-8. The 3-6 players at the Borgata seem to be happy. We will spread 4-8 when the lists are there.

I've played the 3-6 game on a couple of weekends. Both times it was one table and I saw at least half the table both times I was there. I doubt anybody in the 3-6 game is thinking about jumping up to 10-20.
