I saw you got 138 runners in the $270/30 today, and by my calculations ( 138 x 270 ) that puts $37,260 in the prize pool, What does the pay structure look like ? 1st place around 12-14K ish ?? Top 13-14 paid ?

Coming down next Friday to play and this by far looks like the best value..

Hello Stan,

I really appreciate your updates. I also have a question about this promotion. I noticed this free parking offer in my My Borgata account last night, but today it wasn't there. Also, I have recently moved and if it was mailed to me, it went to the wrong address and probably isn't getting forwarded. Is there any way I can claim this offer?

That Friday tourney should be extra yummy on the 4th since Caesars' Circuit Event that day is a limit event.

And I just gotta say, Stan is the man.

That is all.

Make sure that you correct the address in the system the next time you are at the Borgata. Yes, you may still use the offer. It has been down loaded on your Borgata card and they should still be able to honor the offer.

This is purely player dependent. Certain players will routinely buy in for 20-40k, I usually buy in for 5-6k which is a bit on the short side, but most of the fish min buy anyways.

Just got back from my first trip to the Borgata.

Overall, it was somewhere between a B- and B experience. I dug the poker room and had a blast playing in the $300 tournament last night (though I went out before cashing). I would have liked to have played some cash games but both my wife and I came down with something and by this morning, we were sick enough that we decided to just go home.

Our room was not what I would expect from a premium casino. Not that I'm there to watch TV, but I was amazed the Borgata still has tube TVs circa 1995 in their rooms. Other than that, the Italian restaurant was nothing special either.

I'd probably go back there for the poker room, but I wasn't totally wowed by the casino as a whole so we'll probably try some place else next month when we go back to AC.

Agreed that the classic rooms are sub-par. Stay in the Water Club or get a Fiore Suite - both options are a 10x better experience.

Yeah the Water Club was all booked and I figured for $450, we'd get a nicer room. One last thought - 5 Guys > Fatburger, ainec.

I guess you didn't notice the nice bathrooms, the superior cable channel selection, or that you can use comps to pay for everything in Borgata, including room service, internet, and spa services. And not having to worry about getting robbed in the elevators or the parking lot is a bonus, too. (Horror stories have been heard about almost all the other casinos, never at Borgata)
