That is old info. Based on a substantial increase in the player pool including internet players there is more depth and diversity in the games offered of late including 10-20 O.E.

gonna be heading down tomorrow for 3 days or so of 2-5nl. will be staying in absecon if I can't get a decent deal for a room at the borg. what's my best bet for a room? poker floorman?

Hate bringing this back up, but... If the B won't raise buyins for 2-5, how about at least making 3-5 400-1000 I think that will better bridge the gap between 2-5 and 5-10 which is 4 times bigger. It will also make it more likely that the 3-5 will play deeper than the established 2-5 games

Yeah it tilts me to no end when players sit in the 3/5 with $200. Ffs, im in this game to play deep, take your min buyin back to 2/5

ya looks like there's a bunch of options there for around 60-80 a night. i'll try and get a price from borgata that's reasonable and then just head over there if I can't.

I was there last weekend. The floor really helped us get the 20-40 o8 game going. The Borg is the only and best room I will play poker at. Also having Stan help the players non stop is amazing and just want tothank him for all his hard work.

I haven't been to Borgatta in a while. I have a question with card swiping. Do i still have to give card to floor before sitting at table or can dealers swipe at table so can get credited for hours played? If i get up from table and switch do I have to be re swiped?

Last question. Do I have to buy chips at cage when called at table , still can't buy from dealer? Thanks

Buy chips then bring your Borgata card 2 table. If dealer can't swipe you in most likely reason is you need to update your address.No need to check-out, dealer will do that for you too! Dealer, not floor, swipes you in and punches you out. Accumulation of comps is pretty much immediate and you can find your comp balance at any slot machine.

How can I tell how many hours I played since June? I wanna see how far I got to go to qualify for that 75k freeroll.

Had a very nice first time experience at the borg yesterday, despite the pink chip HORSE game never going. Killing time (and $100) at 2/4 LHE was certainly interesting. Been a while since I set mined with TT.

there's some seriously nitpicky stuff going on here.

i'm old for this forum. been playing pretty seriously since like 2001 and professionally from 2003-2006 before joining the working world. the borgata is by far my favorite place to play out east. it isn't even close. they have basically won my business entirely and others who live 1.5-2hrs from fw.

further, the responsiveness of stan here appears to be pretty top notch. there are problems w/ the borg, but c'mon...it's a freaking poker room. i've NEVER seen a perfectly well run poker room.

there's a reason: it's not ****ing easy!!

poker rooms never get the fund allocation that bigger profit centers in casinos get. but the best run rooms do get the highest proportion of the market. and on that measure, the borg is clearly up there if not #1 (i think maybe fw makes more b/c it's the only room really around for farther CT/NY and the more northern states...so it has a monopoly for big games and the MS just blows at running a poker room).

i mean c'mon. stan lists the games, gives reports, and does appear to be attentive to the best of his ability.

in terms of the smoking, i'm not sure how i'd handle that as a floor. i think there should be repercussions but it's hard to monitor the bathroom since you have to catch them in the act. i agree w/ some sort of strike policy.

overall, again, borg is a great room and it has successfully won my business. i'll be there this weekend w/ my gf staying at the water club courtesy of the AWESOME comp structure there. i'll be playing poker and we'll be playing black jack as well. we may see whatever show is there too and will obv be eating there.
