lmao. the floor at parx has always been great and light years better than the nonsense that goes on at borgata.

ask 3 different floor people for a ruling at borgata and you'll get 3 different rulings with a good chance that none of them are correct.

has nothing to do with gaming, NJ gaming is way stricter than Nevada which is just a bunch of good ol boys, yet most NJ rooms are terribly run

I've never played at Philly live so I can't speak to them personally but I've heard good things.

And you're right it has nothing to do with gaming.

You probably know better than me, I've only played at Borgata for the past decade so can't really rag on some place I haven't visited in forever, but back in the day none of them impressed me

Anyone know if they’re ever going to post the last weekend of the 100 Days series to Hendon?

The dates for the Winter Poker Open for 2025 were announced. It'll be January 2 - 17.
They (the Borgata account on Twitter) said that the schedule and structures will be posted later in November after the Fall mini series.

Last years really seemed to drag on and that's with what really a 4 year layoff after their last real series. Not surprised they cut it down by a week.

Must be based on the $600 1 million guaranteed event 1 and $400 1 million guaranteed Almighty they're having. Also must be based on the fact that the winter open always has the highest turnout no questions asked.

I like $600 b/i better than $800. I think this will bring more player and more re-buy than $800. GTD is only headline attraction. Total prize pool is based on total # of entries.
I think this is north east’s one of the biggest events. It will draw big crowds!!

Good Luck All

I think $600 for the opener will bring bigger field as well. I was on the fence at $800 but for $600 I can play that and the Almighty ($400 instead of $500 now as well) instead of choosing one or the other. Both will crush the GTD I expect regardless

Even though I never played a mix torny live, I love the addition of these events for the future. I would love to play the B.E.A.S.T or 2-7 triple draw

Does anyone know if Borgata will be matching/is expected to be matching Caesars tier again in January? Diamond Elite at Caesars, but the thought of paying for parking at the Borg while playing 2 5 and some of their bigger tourns is pretty tilting lol

I thought the mgm tier match cutoff was Sept 30. That's what website says. I assume it opens up again sometime next year. Unless the website is wrong.
