The Metro burger and fries costs $10. Compare that to the medium deal at Fatburger which costs about $9.50 and is much smaller (the Metro burger is a whopping 10 ounces), although it includes a drink. If you use comps on the stuff downstairs (lol newb) then you are actually paying twice as much for a smaller inferior burger downstairs. Not to mention that Fatburger is painfully slow for a fast food joint and you probably will get your burger faster at Metropolitan.


It costs $30 if you don't have a black card, which is a lot more and the reason I don't go there. If I'm gonna spend that much I'd rather do it at Sea Blue (awesome Salmon for $28).

Stan, I never got to thank you for the room this past weekend. I has a blast as usual. I just wish I didn't get runner-runner'd with a flopped set of Queens at 5am after 16 hours of grinding. Not your fault. Thanks again.

If the dealer is who I am thinking of he is a solid dealer. I do see why he could rub someone wrong possibly but he's good.

1400+ very cool, Cant wait to play in the deepstack on sunday, and if i bust out on day1 the PLO on monday.

looks like the $450-$550 deep stack that usually runs the 1st sunday gets between 500-700 runners with a 1st prize ranging from 50k-84k

My comments about the buffet specifically referred to Breakfast. I might not have been that clear but I thought the "this is all for breakfast" line would have done it.

Obviously, your point about $30 dinner buffets being relatively pricey are true, but why do you have to do the ******ed thing and quote my breakfast-related comments completely out of context and make it seem like I'm talking about dinner? You even had to bold my words, to prove me "wrong" about some point I didn't make.

(In case it still isn't clear, my point was that the $14 breakfast buffet price is not that much more than the $10 BC price.)

looks like last year's 2nd week deep stack got 727...and that started on a Monday. This one is a Sunday. Hopefully it'll be at least as big.

I'll be there for the Sund Deep stack, Mond PLO and the midweek 2 day 1's 100K guar $200 NL deep stack. Last winter it was also midweek and had 1,100 entries BUT only had ONE DAY 1. This has a day 1A and 1B so it's going to be insanely huge. LOL at the 100K guar...it'll be 200K ++

Just taking your mistake and going a bit over the top about it (without being personal. I think.)

My problem relates to how people can be careless when replying to stuff. But I wouldn't take the response too seriously. I know it was just an over sight.

1/2 PLO was insane last night 'til this morning. I played the must-move table for about 5 hours before I was moved to the main game.

Average stack at must-move was about $500. At the main game, it was well over $1,500. Three players sat had accumulated over $3,000. This was, by far, the best PLO table I've ever sat at.

I left $700 up. A very swingy night. Bought in for $500. Had as much as $2,000, as little as $200.

Hand of the night was one I lost. I pot UTG+1 with AcAdQcQd and get six callers. I flop the club nut flush, only to get runner-runner straight flushed by some giant broad who flopped a baby flush and wouldn't fold. Ever after I check-raised the flop and let out the turn. Women. ... Lost about $900 in that pot.
