Even though I see you are in Depark poker room, when you return, can you tell me if pot-limit hold'em has the same status as Razz in NJ (not allowed)? Wouldn't mind playing either a pot-limit hold'em or a pot-limit hold'em/omaha table once in a while. Somebody else asked in another thread and it got me curious; thanks.
facepalm.jpg on everyone NOT understanding that the alarm clock dilemma has nothing to do with whether or not you have any intention of using it.
P.S. Played 5/10 for 36 hours this past weekend (3p Sat until 3a Sun) and forgot to CLOCK THE EFF OUT because being awake for 45+ hours does funny things to your noggin.
I did however get to participate in the wild and crazy 5/10/20 that was going for a while and see some old/new faces.

1. 3p Sat until 3a Sun is twelve hours - unless you meant to say 3p Sat until 3a Mon.
B. If you were playing at around 5:30 am or so, you should have been swiped out and back in by the floor at that time. So you should not have lost all of your time due to being forgetful.
About to head to the Borgata for the whole weekend. This will be my first time playing in an American Casino. Anyone care to lend some advice on what to expect from the poker room, the players, the skill level, and other miscellaneous?

This what you can expect from the room. I will let the players give advice on the other stuff.
also one additional question, regarding the cash giveaways, once prize "x" is given out, for example a free 50 bux, is it then out of the running? Or is it up for grabs again?
I'm obv looking at the 5g's

There are a limited number of envelopes, each with a specified prize. That way they can guarantee the amount of money given away.
Stan thanks so much for the reply. Just a couple posts up someone is talking about some sort of cash bonus? Is this true? Can someone elaborate, that'd be great.
Is it true that American rooms do a lot of comping? Should I expect anything if I spend my weekend playing? Stan will you be there this weekend?

Poker room is the best you will find pretty much anywhere. Weekend games are juicy and players are a mix of terribad, not so bad and some good ones. Depends on stakes you play but I would say play at each level is no better/worse than any other live room.

The best Poker Room in the United States and ive been in the rest.
The combination of endless cash games and great tournaments makes them number 1 to me.
Its a little loud with the slots so close .
The best smaller room ever was the Borgata old room.
It also had the best day time tourny.
50 rebuy
I miss the old room sometimes but it was tough watching people walk away because theu couldn't get a seat. I remember telling someone that they were 236 on the list for 1-2.
