Can you explain something for me?
Got a mailer the other day that says
"Your place is ours. Free room just for you Sunday - Friday 2 nights per week March 1st - April 30, 2010"

Sweet, so I log into my account online and for those months it lists Sunday-Thursday as comped on the calendar but lists Every friday at $79. I could understand if some were listed at 79 and some as comped if there were special weekends or something, but every single friday says 79.

Any reason why mailer says SUn-Friday but calendar has 79 for friday? I called customer service and they said, it could mean that comp rates were all booked already and that they could only give me sun-thursday. I got the mailer 2 days ago. What gives?

I'll be up Monday the 15th through Wednesday the 17th. I'll be staying at the Showboat the entire time (including playing the tourneys there), but want to hit the Borgata to check it out and play the 11am the Wednesday on my way out of town.

Other than playing the tourneys I'll probably also just be killing time on pennies too, since I won't be taking too terribly much with me this trip. That, and I don't like putting much money into a game that is 100% luck and has a -EV, just a time killer for me

Heh yea I hear ya pennies are a solid way to just kill some time. Let me know for certain if your going down/want to play that Wed 15k tourney and I'll let u know if I make it down there in time to play it or not.

because friday night = saturday departure, and therefore does not qualify for Sunday-Friday promotions. its a little confusing, since Sunday = check-in day, and Friday = check-out day.

Havent played here in quite some time but might try it out again this weekend. Anyone else here plan on playing in the 5/10 games this weekend?

Stan, has Borgata always had the Spring Open? I cannot make that event either as I will be graduating at the end of April. I can't wait to become an actual reg at Borgata, rather than just going during my breaks.

If the online offers are sometimes not correct, and, if the online comps are sometimes not correct, are these issues being worked on so that things are as they should be?

The problem is that once we cancel and let the staff know not to come in, it's hard to change it on the fly. Not to mention the CCC and the other departments we have to inform of the cancellations (cage,Security, etc.)
