The Borg room capacity is closer to 1000. All the times I've seen that sign, I don't remember the actual number.

Guessing poker allowances from sports rules is just silly, though.

Bravo is showing 1 table of 1/3. Hmmm, testing??? And, are they switching to 1/3 like MGM???

They are probably testing their systems. Johnny from MGM as said before in this thread is going there to give an in-service on reopening procedures. It will be interesting to see if the bigger fixed limit games go on the weekend. It will be nice to come home if so.

In my opinion, the games which will be run mostly will be 1/2 and 2/5, maybe 5/10 and plo too depending on interest at that particular time. Fixed limit probably weekend and busy times

I heard they're only fixing up 30 tables with the dividers is that true? If that's the case, mixed and limit games would be hard to find imo (even no limit games can't remember how many times I went down to MGMNH only to turn around and go back to MDL because the lists were too crazy).

The player pool of limit players is greater at borg. They will probably have like 6 high limit tables and 24 low limit tables for 2/4 1/2 and 2/5. This is essentially what MGM did and yeah you have to get there before 10 am to get in on a weekend.

I hope they develop some sort of text message system for the lists cuz if they have people just waiting around that room is gonna have way too many people lingering around

21/9 in back. Id guess thats some fire code/ 25% capacity deal. Whatever is 'staple' in back will likely have a space saved. Whether theyll be able to have must moves.. guess well see.

So about 210 players? That’s pretty good all things considered. Planning on going to ac soon, don’t know when I should book the room for though

I don't think it will be until next month. The NJ gaming board has to approve reopening then they have to call all their FT dealers and floor back. But it is encouraging to see rooms slowly reopening in PA and across the country. Definetly a sign things are headed in the right direction for employees that depend on the poker economy for their livelihood.

From what I've heard a former employee say on a Facebook group, who was offered her job back but decided to move to Florida instead, is that they were already calling back staff this week.

In the room which means about
16 tables, plus supervisors,Dealers,Cleaning

I didn’t account for that, might be the case. I just said 7-handed and 30 tables so 7*30=210

The Borgata announced Thursday that it will reopen its live poker room on Wednesday, October 21.

The Borgata is proceeding with plans to open 30 tables, masked players will find themselves separated by plexiglass barriers, only cash games will be offered

The other day Bravo was showing a 1/3 game going I hope Johnny is influencing them to change the 1/2 to 1/3 500 max and set a presidence for the whole region since they're the first one to open this is a great time to do it.

I believe Borgata already spreads a 1/3 from 100-500. Have to clarify it with the poker room manager. It is not as popular as other 1/3 games in the region. 1/2 is also a staple game for their regulars, so I don't see them changing that.

That's probably true but they should eliminate 1/2. For the past few months I've been playing in MD area and it's 1/3 min. I play 2/5 but sometimes when I'm waiting I'm playing in the 1/3 but it's still great for the NY/NJ/PA region those people who buy in for $60 should be playing 2/4 limit

Not as far as I know. They might be approved for such a game, but I don't think it's ever actually been offered.
