thats acceptable if you're not good. anything more is a blow to your manhood.

so is this 'shaving strokes' nonsense. stop doing that.
personally i feel hitting 2 tee shots of the 1st tee when there is no practice facility or like my parents club the max yardage at the range is 200yds(so no woods allowed) is totally fair. after that though mulligans are cheating. imo

I almost took a mulligan today but then thought of this thread and didn't. Triple instead of bogey.

I don't take mulligans because I'm worried I'll hit an even worse shot which would mess with my head more than just playing the first bad shot.

I'm not sure what's so great about the final round in the 2000 Open. Tiger plodding along while everyone else is throwing up on themselves

82. I hate going from a course with slow greens to the
next day going to a course with lightning speed greens.

How quickly do drivers lose their "pop?" I have a tm burner 2.0 that I have absolutely abused (like 150+ driving range balls a week for a year) but it's holding up. I can't imagine hitting so many balls (many of them practically rocks) is good for a driver.

It definitely could have, I realized what was happening at the last second and started to rotate/jump out of the way so it missed my junk.

Got a tee time for sawmill creek tomorrow in sandusky right by cedar point. Supposed to be pretty decent with fast greens so I am pretty stoked.

I'd love to just be able to pause at the finish on a wayward shot with an analytical frame of mind...saying to myself ''hummm...interesting'' instead of saying ''you ****ing ****'' or burrying a club in the ground.

I come close to that at the range when I practice but somehow I can't transfer it to the golf course.

Had a great practice round today. The course was empty so my dad and I played a 1 man scramble where we each got two shots and played from our own best ball (besides putts). Shot a -1 71 doing that as a low to mid 80's player. Good confidence building round.
