I haven't tried it, but it seems legit.

Thanks I'll def order from them. I been making my own but getting lazy. Site looks legit, I've ordered things from Thai sites that actually look like scam sites and never had a problem.

This was all because the Turkish bomber exited Thailand through one of those land border crossings.

Land borders are always a bit hit and miss. Hardly anyone ever has issues if they fly in. Just the fact you can afford the plane ticket seems to satisfy immigration at airports.

I am flying to Cambodia this weekend for a visa renewal so I will report if I have any problems.

I have to assume there will be a decent amount of time of national morning but once the power grabs start I'm at the least gonna have bags packed and be on alert.
It will be interesting times for sure but hard to believe that foreigners are going targeted in anyway. Still may not be a good idea to hang around if bullets start flying.
This is in regards to Bangkok. Somewhere like samui will probably be mellow.

I doubt foreigners will be targeted, but Elvis has been notably foreigner friendly in his time, and by all accounts his likely successor is not so foreigner friendly, so laws could change for the worse.

Conway Twitty had more #1 hits than Elvis.

Laws changing are the least of my concerns. The possibility of widespread violence in the city is what concerns me. I put it at a fairly small % but not out of the realm of possibilities.

I thought the King was largely a ceremonial figure at this point, with no real governing power anymore?

Wouldn't be too difficult to move somewhere a bit quieter for a month or two until it dies down. Samui or Chiang Mai for example.

I don't think that's safe enough. We should all go back to our own countries and move into our mom's basement and never leave, but keep posting on this thread forever even though we don't live in Thailand and don't play poker.
On a serious note, any safety issues caused by political turmoil don't go beyond Bangkok, in other parts of Thailand you wouldn't even know anything was happening unless you watch the news. It obviously has negative effects on overall tourism but not a safety concern for people already here.

Would short term visa policies potentially be on that list of laws? Or would it only be laws that affect falang staying more than a year or so?

I want to see a dentist in patts. Is there much variance in quality of equipment/dentist for a simple cleaning? Or can I just yolo the one down the street?
