Right, but good "Visa Service" companies usually provide the documents you need to satisfy one of the categories.
Totally different story here, but many years ago I obtained a 5-year multi-entry visa to Ukraine. I used a Visa Service company and they provided me with some bogus business letter from a legit Ukrainian company that said I was needed to perform some task blah blah, anyway those documents were enough to satisfy the Ukrainian Emabassy in Wash, D.C. A good Visa Service company should be able to give you the documentation you need to get a work, retired, or whatever Visa is most appropriate for you. Of course it comes with a fee.
Most of the Visa Service companies I read about ITT seem to be simply travel escorts to the border and back, that's not a real Visa Service company, which again for a fee, should be able to provide you with documentation to obtain a long-term visa.
