It's so amazing for me people may not drink in america till they are 21, over here you can drink at age 16, and most people start at age 12....(which i, ofcourse, don't aprove at all )

By law you can't rent a car until you are 25 in NY last I checked. Found that one out the hard way, but at least I was travelling for business and not pleasure....

Good news today in the Journal:

Internet games, gambling and other forms of online entertainment have seen significant surges in use in the several months since the economic downturn deepened.

NICE! I miss college so much haha. You are an engineering student right? I went to so many classes drunk senior year. That's the stuff you'll remember... or maybe not remember.

Happy Bday. I spent my 21st in a dry county and had to drive the bustling metropolis of Kenney, Illinois to get my first drink.

FYI cars are hard and people driving are stupid!

Some idiot decides to open up his car door without looking and there is a bike lane right next to it. And who happens to pass that car just at that moment?

<-------------- "Hint"

Luckily I wasn't going fast b/c I had to stop for a red light just before and had not picked up that much speed. But SPD pedals meant I had no chance to brace with my legs so I hit the ground feet still on the pedals. Must have looked funny me lying there with feet still stuck on the pedals . No broken legs or anything, elbow is a little sore but I was more worried about the bike and not being able to ride it home as I had like 8km to go...would have been a long walk

Does somebody already took the cardrunners/stox membership for free trough FTP?

I am still having doubts, i have trouble with companys that tell me: Yes, believe us, its really for free!

got screwed over sometimes by companys, not saying those companys will do the same thing but because of it I am always a bit sceptic

I did it, no complaints, seems completely free to me.

Bike lane rant:

The people who paint those bike lanes are idiots and don't understand bicycling safety and you paid the price. Stay out of the reach of car doors at all times even if that means you are encroaching in the traffic lane slightly. Cars will get pissed at you but then can move over a foot while they pass you. If you feel you have to ride within reach of the doors, make sure to look at every side mirror as you are coming up so you can tell whether some idiot is about to get out. That is kind of a chore, but it's worth it to keep the rubber side down.

Everybody who bikes in traffic should read this site:

http://bicyclesafe.com/

It has definitely saved my bacon a few times. Glad it didn't turn out worse for you. They are all really really good tips but you will def want to check out #2

Can verify that it is 100% completely free. You have to be an existing member to get the benefits though, so all you do is purchase a 1 month subscription, either with your own money or though the FT Store, and then follow all the signup instructions in the Coaching Forum. Then you just earn enough FT Points every month and they comp your next month's subscription. No payments, no credit cards, nothing. And you aren't even obligated to do it every month. And if you stop and then start again, you still get it for free (I think). Basically the best deal ever.

Isn't it winter where you are? How are you riding a bike around... I can barely walk around out there.

For example: I saw a guy today parked blatantly on a corner blocking the whole sidewalk. I had to climb the snowbank just to get around. Although when I noticed his custom license plates said "SOUTHIE" that solved that. He's 100% either with the mob or the government (or both) and in that case I guess he can park wherever he wants.

Yay! My vet bill was only 6 1/2 BI, but I won the under because I thought it would be at least 8.

Move up and maybe you can see a doctor next time you're sick.

Is Sally Jenkins trying to say something here? Something's going on there....

But this part is certainly interesting, goes with what TDK and McAvoy were saying earlier:

Quote:
Champions tend to develop out of a state of emotional emergency. Winning is a need. Their training methods are extreme, their goals are extreme and their rewards tend to be extreme. Lance Armstrong is driven by a fatherless childhood, and after the Tour de France he consumes quite epic amounts of beer and ice cream, sometimes together. I once watched Andre Agassi drink an entire bottle of Chianti -- at lunch. Pete Sampras rewarded himself for winning the U.S. Open by gorging on steak until he almost vomited. Phelps is driven partly by a case of boyhood ADHD. One thing we know about him is that his surface opacity, the phlegmatic, almost placid exterior hides a different person beneath the water, a bottomlessly ambitious competitor. As his mother once said, "Under the water there is another level of Michael."
I hope that at the tables, there is another level of Conan....

LOL. You know -- I did find the anal thermometer a little indignant. And yet... strangely arousing.

Yeah dude. Breaking up is hard even if it's a good thing.

Just find more "hands" to play to relieve you of your sadness.

I didn't purchase anything, I just signed up for a free account (through the link that Split provided), and by the next month I had a full membership....

Doing the Kiss the Ring series right now.

If you're lucky, the motorist will exit the car before you hit the door, so you'll at least have the pleasure of smashing them too when you crash, and their soft flesh will cushion your impact.

To bad this wasn't the case, just missed him

Yes it's winter, -9 °C (that is 14 °F for you non standard people ) this morning when I went to work. But there is barely no snow so it's no problem taking the bike to work. I hate the ****ing subway, to crowded and always delayed.

the change is pretty big we will never see eachother live BUT if wel continue playing we will be at the higher stakes in 5 years looking back: "do you remember those micro stakes days?"
Guess it's time to get an AIM account, seems to be what most folks here use. BTW what's wrong with Skypes chat, is it not cool enough ? Hate having millions of chat programs....
