On a scale of 0-10, how concerned are you with chimney fires?

squirrels and birds used to camp out in my chimney so I had it sealed up and use the hearth for junk storage now.

If you have your chimney swept fairly regularly it's not much of a worry. The enjoyment of a real fire should easily out way the worry imo. Can't beat a good wood burning stove.

The beer question is a bit regional imo

Unless imported or brewed in the same place beer can taste incredibly different from one place to another due to the water being used.

In AUS half of the state of Victoria drink Victoria Bitter (as I used to) but when I travelled 2 states north to visit family you wouldn't drink it cause it tasted somewhat like what donkey piss would taste like I imagine.

The now import it from Victoria and ship it north.

I drink heineken fwiw

I agree that VB tastes like donkey piss, though I haven't drunk it in Vic.

I must admit I don't drink it anymore pretty much imported Heineken or imported Stella. Although if I'm at a mates and they have VB its drinkable I guess

Not sure where yours is brewed id be guessing over there as its a long way to ship beer but that said I was referencing Nth QLD earlier. Aa I said I drank it in Melbourne every day or close enough too (10 years ago) and at the time couldn't even get through a pot/can up there it was so awful.

They changed this about 5 or 6 years ago I'm guessing.

I only ever tried it in Perth. Honestly would drink any other beer over it. It was a last resort and if I had of been older, probably would have not drunk over drinking it.

By the time I lived in Brisbane I was never in a position that I didn't have a choice of something else.

I would like to try this VB. It sounds right up my alley. Is it dirt cheap?
