Wash the bowl, throw out the cereal. Not in that order.

you guys are insane. a LITTLE BIT OF CHEERIOS DUST and a clean spoon touched it and you're giving up on it?? it's a clean bowl. you either put the whole milkless breakfast AND SPOON in the fridge for a day or dump out the cheerios and restock

If I was really going to leave it in the bowl (spoiler alert: I wouldnt) it would be saran wrapped and put in the cupboard where the cereal lives, not the fridge.

Roaches? What kind of kitchen do you have? Well, I suppose it depends on your climate and environment.
Id just put it back into a kitchen shelf, I do not recall ever having had a bug problem in there. Actually Im sure I have done this a couple of times with some cereals. The fridge is no good, then they would take on the smell of whatever food you currently have in there.

"What kind of kitchen do you have?" followed by saying that fridges smell.

Good work!

It wasn't meant as an offense. Dude I have seen some kitchens where the biology surely took over. But they were almost all from HC stoners who didn't clean their dishes for weeks or months.

How often do you wash/change/sanitize the following:

Your body towel
The hand towel in your bathroom
Your face cloth
Your personal sheets
Your comforter
Your pillow

Your guest sheets/comforter
Your guest towels
Your guest pillows

The light switch in your bathroom
The flushed on your toilet
The door handle to/from your washroom
The faucet

I'm trying to determine how likely I am to get ebolaids from being a houseguest, and whether I'd be better off using the available hand towel, or forgoing it for another option.

Your pillow - outside bit - 7-10 days. Inside bit - 3 months (if not longer)

Your guest sheets/comforter - For each new visitor
Your guest towels - For each new visitor
Your guest pillows - outside bit - For each new visitor, inside bit - ummm probably never, but we don't (or didn't) have that many visitors

The light switch in your bathroom - never
The flushed on your toilet - as in the flush button? 7-10 days
The door handle to/from your washroom - never
The faucet - 7-10 days

Mostly weekly.
Comforter (inner and outer bits) less frequently. If you dry your hands on it, you'll be asked to leave.!y half of the master bathroom is cleaner than the wife's half. The powder room gets pretty low volume, so it stays fairly clean. The upstairs bathroom is the sole domain of the wicked little troll that lives up there, and you are advised not to enter.

Hotels freak me out even more than guest rooms. Whenever possible I bring my own pillows and blankets...and often demote them to rags when we get back.

I enjoy discovering ephemeral connections to humanity when an otherwise anonymous and sterile hotel room has a solitary pube on the toilet rim.

Do like Kristy does and take a black light with you. Nothing says anonymous and sterile like pecker tracks IN the mini bar.

Man, this Miami-Philly game is close! Really looking forward to the Pats-Giants late game today. Who do you guys like for MNF? I think the Texans stage an away game upset.

Unless you are talking Miami Heat vs Philly 76ers, I don't care!
