I was able to play RUSH on Tilt and then I lost my 4 dollars at PLO so I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not. This time I think it is. Something better is coming because of all of this, you watch. Start saving up your bankroll money

Full Tilt Poker™ Supports Poker Players And Its Chief Executive

Dublin Ireland (April 15, 2011)- Full Tilt Poker is saddened by today’s charges against its CEO Raymond Bitar and offers its full support to Mr. Bitar and Nelson Burtnick.

Online poker is a game of skill enjoyed by tens of millions of people in the United States and across the world. And, Full Tilt Poker remains as committed as ever to preserving the rights of those players to play the game they love online.

Mr. Bitar and Full Tilt Poker believe online poker is legal – a position also taken by some of the best legal minds in the United States. Full Tilt Poker is, and has always been committed to preserving the integrity of the game and abiding by the law.

“I am surprised and disappointed by the government’s decision to bring these charges. I look forward to Mr. Burtnick’s and my exoneration,” said Mr. Bitar.

Unfortunately, as a result of this action, Full Tilt Poker has decided that it must suspend “real money” play in the United States until this case is resolved. However, Full Tilt Poker will continue to provide peer-to-peer online poker services outside of the United States.

Something very alarming I was just thinking about. I know Stars has always said that your money is safe on their site and people assume that they will eventually get their money no matter what happens. This was when everyone also assumed that Stars was going to apply for a US license in the future. Now with these indictments it would seem that Stars will NEVER be a legitimate company allowed to operate in the US.

This leaves the question of what happens to our money. Well, what happens when the cops bust an "illegal" poker game? They take all the money on the table right? It's gone. You lose it.

Someone please tell me why this isn't going to happen here. I'm now very worried that my entire bankroll may be unrecoverable ever.

Proud day to be an American.
dont forget all those CEOs and execs kept all the money and the tax paying poker players of America helped foot the bill for the whole thing so the crooked banks could keep on scamming.

I don't want to make this a financial rant, but after I saw the news about the arrests and freezing of accounts I went over and checked the price of gold and saw it spike up (a rise that continued after market to new all time highs). Maybe subconsciously I knew that something serious in the world was going wrong. When the so-called land of liberty and freedom rejects its founding principles and rejects property right where can people turn for protection from these socialist nanny-state thugs: gold or getting out.

I bet things get far worse before they get better. I converted my PStars money to Canadian dollars, but whether I can get it out or not is anyone's guess. Even if you don't play poker on the internet, you are a less free American today than you were yesterday.

i've never been more ****ing embarrassed to be an american.

The fact that you're in Vegas is not going to change a thing, in case you didn't realize. This is a Federal issue, not state. Forget about playing major online poker sites any more. I'm sure you'll have some choices for Nevado-only residents.

Where the **** was the DOJ after JPMC, SKANK OF AMERICA, ****TY BANK AND THE LIKE RAPED INVESTORS AND STOLE TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS FROM AMERICAN TAX PAYERS???

There is no where to hide. The US is run by US corporations. We lost. Now lets all hope we can get on our knees to suck Steve Wynn's **** while he forces us to pay 5% rake capped at $20 or something similarly ridiculous.

On the bright side of things, PokerStars was nice enough to increase my cashout limit to a cool million bucks. WTF. That is like 200 times the balance in my account right now.

04-15-2011 , 10:37 PM
wtf pokerstars steve not saying anythign at all?!? this is ****ed up.
04-15-2011 , 10:38 PM
I think you can request all day but they won't have the money to pay you atm. Just have to wait and see what happens and see if they can find a way to get our money off.
04-15-2011 , 10:39 PM
I know there is a million threads atm, but I am not sure what to do. I am just thinking about waiting it out and seeing what happens, but would it be best to try and cashout? I got a 200$ roll, so nothing major, but would be nice not to loose this, since it will end my poker playing for a while.

I think the consensus right now is that the funds are frozen, any withdrawal attempts won't go through. Just have to wait and hope we see our money again some day.
