NVG has a thread but we need a thread here to solicit expert's opinions.

FBI notice is coming up on FullTiltPoker.com for me, not yet Stars, but it appears to be a matter of time.

I just was told of a news report that FT and Stars have been seized by the FBI and that even some owners will be charged with money laundering.

Does anyone have any more details about this?

What will the impacts be on the sites? Will they remain operational?

Has there been ANY warning of this coming?

Court fight inc.

They work for me, so either not all DNS's have been updated yet or something funny is going on.
04-15-2011 , 02:17 PM
Yep this seems legit. I wonder what's going to happen, one would think that ftp and stars were prepared for something like this. I wonder if Ivey, Lederer, et al are going to leave the country.

Stars working fine for me here in Vegas
04-15-2011 , 02:18 PM
I can't even access pokerstars.com website. omfg, i think this really may be the end.
04-15-2011 , 02:18 PM
thinking out loud here, could this have anything to do with the DC bill?
04-15-2011 , 02:18 PM
If it is true, thank you to all the morons 'Status quo is fine for me' who failed to push the Reid bill.

From what I've read in the other thread for technical reasons (that I'm not really sure about) it takes some time for this to affect all ares depending ISP. So some places all sites are blocked others just one or two and some none yet but will likely be. Even those in foreign countries are being blocked from what I can tell

Both work fine for me, maybe its just a state issue like what happened in Washington

Mods: I just noticed there are several threads on this now, maybe its best to merge them
