assani,

in that situation i always throw it like a soccer throw-in off the backboard, then rim, and it's much easier to miss.

Purely hypothetical as I don't think you've ever gotten to that high in 21

am i in this inner sanctum? I hope not because i dont like stuff like that, but i dont think it's wrong to give others advice about certain players.

agreed..aiming for the side of the rim and bouncing it off the backboard behind it virtually guarantees a funky rebound.

eh I dunno I thought it was a bunch of you (including you and kidcolin but others as well) but I guess I was totally off but it just looked like it considerin ya'll were like openly discussing who you know someone else wanted etc.....sorry

so sick bro.

also seems like a bad way to do it. Way easier to hit just rim first then try to parlay the bank and the miss.

i like dudd's idea the best. IMO having a good late game strategy as to how you should get the ball back in this situation (IE exactly how it was in tonight's C's game) is very important for our franchises.

God that reminds me of a Warriors Lakers game several years ago when the Lakers were the best team in the league and losing by 27 in the third quarter, they were down 20 going into the 4th and steadily came back, then on the last play of the game they were down by two and had to miss a free throw, Bryant took a normal shot but off target so it hit the side of the rim and then the backboard, a eam mate was in perfect position for the put back and of course they won the OT.

I could go either way, but like (I think it was) KC said earlier, I wanna enjoy the draft and worry about this sorta competition thing later. IMO some people might try to pick for their teams to do well in certain formats and such and that's just not cool. So yeah let's finish the draft then we'll resume the old thread (which we let die until this) and discuss different evaluation methods and such.

I was throwing out possibilites for who I might look at if I were to trade up. Dale Davis was one of them, although he wasn't really someone I was dedicated to.

It looks like Hollinger is picking either the Kentucky Pacers or the Mississippi Grizzlies to win.

I got two separate PMs from different people strangely enough both asking the same thing in the past hour or so. Another rules clarification here:

Zeke Zawoluk is not eligible for the draft. I obviously don't mind saying his exact name instead of hinting at who I'm talking about since hes ineligible. This ruling is final and is not up for debate.

Guys continue to ask if you have any questions whatsoever about the rules. I would much rather everyone understand the rules completely and/or allow myself to get some help from others on tough rule clarification issues.
