It is fine to include that as part of a bigger post, but to just make corrections like that is the height of ******ation. People like that should write a book on how to waste a life.
Even if you thought you were right, it would be Craig's List. Also, I wrote one word, you spazzed out with multiple paragraphs. Who is wasting more of their life?

Pretty sure the "body's" is a deliberate play on words there, not a mistake. Top tier advertising firms don't often make that kind of mistake, particularly for a billion dollar client. I'm 100% sure the writers of that ad know the difference between plural and possessive.

Body is used as a proper noun, short for Body by Victoria. So that's why they didn't use "Bodies" when referring to more than 1 instance of the clothing line Body by Victoria.

However, it still shouldn't have the apostrophe since it's plural, not possessive. It should be "Bodys", much like the Murphys or the Kennedys.

They probably intentionally added the apostrophe, knowing its wrong, but also knowing that even wrong it still looks way better than Bodys, which doesn't even look like a word and people might not even realize is meant to be plural of Body, or more likely people would think its a misspelling of bodies, not recognizing Body was being used as a name.

Conclusion: Intentional mistake for comedic value since to do it correct would have either ruined the joke or looked like a different (worse) mistake.

Almost would have been cleaner to say "You've never seen a 'body' like this" despite there being two girls in the ad.

I've seen people say cole cuts when meaning cold cuts (but they are actually thinking that it is cole cuts...lol), and amazingly, I have seen whore **** when most of upright humans say horse****. ...
I suggest a new term for these mistakes, analogous to typographical error (typo), such as mindograhpic error or mindo.

Oops. I meant "mindographic," of course. If I'm going to coin neologisms, I'd better spell them right the first time ...

Knowing no difference between "than" and "then". Also "their" and "there". And Ironically the worst one comes mostly from the English people themselves, Using "should of" instead of "should have".

This one is a pet peeve of mine, primarily when used in writing. When spoken it's a homophone for the correct "should've" so it's not noticed. But when written it's like fingernails on a chalkboard. My theory is that hearing the homophone causes people to misinterpret what is being said and thus to incorporate "should of" into their lingo, based on what they thought they heard. Originally at least, before the incorrect version started propagating on it's own.

I had a correspondence with a pretty successful author over his frequent use of "should of" in character dialog in a hardback book on a major publishing label, and he defended it as regional lingo. I told him that's fine when speaking, but unforgivable to write it down.

"Should of" is an affront to the English language and should be burned with fire.

Every time I see it written I assume horrible things about the writer.

It's almost never used in the correct sense, that if something is explicitly stated to be an exception then there must be a rule.

The Myrtle Beach area is home to over 60 Miles of coast line. Our trips depart out of Murrells Inlet which is a beautiful saltwater marsh that leads to the Atlantic Ocean. Once we are in the ocean we travel along the beautiful Coast of our Area waving to those on the beach as we pass by them. We will most likely see Dolphins, sea turtles and other aquatic life as we cruise the ocean.

Our Vessel is a 46 ft Newton that will hold up to 49 passengers. Large groups are welcome and we do host private Cruises for Corporate events, wedding parties, Family reunions. Give us a call . Our Vessel is just right for you. Large Groups are welcomed. Full Range of Safety Gear on board.

Our Vessel has a covered back deck, Full bathroom with sink, & a top sun deck. Our guest will always stay dry. We can go fast or slow. Its up to the group!!!! The top deck gives you a good view of the ocean or go below and get up and close to the action.

I am far from a grammar nit, but if I hear one more person at work mess up "flesh out" and "flush out" I may murder someone.

If you're considering homicide, you're not that far.

I knew the park was going to be crappy when I received this ticket, and my expectations were confirmed. The park really sucks. Universal Orlando isn't all that great but is ~1000x better than Universal Hollywood. Stay away.
