If you are interested, we have a small group called "Paul's Sunday Review" that meets over Teamviewer 6 and Skype to discuss MTT microstakes hand histories. One member recently finished second for a $6K score and we're currently reviewing the hand history of a second member who took down a $3 rebuy on Christmas Day for a $12K score.
The group is interactive and meets every Sunday at 9 AM CST / 10 AM EST for one hour. The Skype group can be used all week for sweats and interactive chat as well.
Shoot me a PM if you're interested in joining with your Skype name and I will send you an invite.

I've been playing a lot of FR rush microstakes cash recently and have started a study group on Skype for anyone else who is doing the same.

I came across this thread while trying to find a Rush study group.

As far as I can see there isn't one so I will start one on Skype for anyone who is interested in discussing hands, strategy or anything useful (and positive).

My Skype un is toby.sanchez add me then I'll add you to the discussion.

Cheers.

Name: Michael
Skype Username: will email it to you
Age: 49
Limits Played: micro
Win rate: Lossrate?
Hands per month: not many until I get better
Why join: I am mostly a live player, recreationally. I believe there is still money to be made online, but I suck at it. I want to get better and try to make a little profit, vice the losses I suffer now. I am reasonably intelligent, have the capacity to learn more, just need to find the correct training. Maybe this is it?

Hello,

I currently co-run a Skype study group for SH players looking to improve their game and increase their winrate. The group has been running for a while and as of 11/10/10 we have 72 members. The skill level varies and people are playing different limits. We have some struggling 5NL players but we also have winning 1000NL players.

If you join our group there are a few requirements:
  • Fill out our Google documents with basic information about you
  • Have a microphone
  • Take part in hand discussions
  • Take part in poker discussions
  • Take part in sweat sessions
  • Take part in recorded or review sessions
  • To not whine about bad beats / suckouts / downswings
  • To not make off topic conversations in our group
  • To respect other members and understand that some are not as experienced than you

In this group we prune members who are not active and we also remove any members who are abusive and do not try to help other members.

If you would like to be a part of this please PM me the following information:

bump, were are only looking for 50nl+ players currently, due to the size of the group and most players play 50nl>, so we dont see it as beneficial to the whole group to accept lower stakes at this moment in time.

Nevermind, read the bump.

hey before I even pm you with my details:

I am a tourny player looking to make the switch. I was fairly successful in tournies and am looking to switch into nl100 or nl200.

I am starting school soon so I am unsure of how much I can participate. How many hours a week does the group demand? I could prob put in like 5-10 hrs a week depending on the week.

idk if you all are interested in that kind of thing, let me know and ill send you whatever details I can. It would be cool to join I feel like I have a lot of leaks.

as long as your active and stay on topic thats all we ask. if your away for 2-3weeks at a time, we kick people out, otherwise as i said, its pretty casual, but only poker talk

I don't have a mic so I can't do Skype, but would there be anybody interested in discussing micros on MSN and reviewing hand history, etc.? I'm talking very small stakes and I want to improve my game further so if there was someone or a group of people who wanted to talk about hands, sweat each other, etc. I'd be interested. I'm a winning player over the tiny stakes on Stars but I don't have a large enough sample size to really make any bold statements just yet about my RoI or profits or anything.

Any HU PLO50ish groups out there? Pm me if there is thanks...

I'm looking to create a small skype study group for a very motivated group of grinders in the 50-200NL 6MAX category.

I'm looking for winners as well as break even players or even losing players.
If you are driven and have high goals to improve and beat the game and move up, gather up.

We will be holding casual hand history review, sweat sessions and video review discussions.

Skype with a mic and Teamviewer/Mikogo will be required.

Please pm me with some information about yourself if you're interested. Thank you.

Looking to join a no limit 6max study group. I'm at 10nl crushing currently after taking time off to focus on school and had to withdraw/drop down due to expenses. Planning on moving up to 25nl soon, Used to play primarily 50nl, and 25nl. Looking for a really focused, serious group who is adamant on improving. I've been in touch with lots of people on these forums over the years and nearly all of them have burned out.

So once again... I am looking for a serious group that wants to improve, or looking for people with similar qualities to start a new group.

Feel free to pm, thanks.
