lol. I did listen to it. You still haven't read the post you quoted. You're twisting steve's words. He chose them very carefully, and he did not say that closing the dons wasn't security related.

I explained everything in the post that you quoted and didn't read. I know you didn't read it cause you didn't even come close to responding to my post.

This extra two weeks was appreciated Steve. I am really going to miss this format

I think extending the deadline to 2/28 means they are actually listening to their customers which is admirable. THAT is why I am back posting. I believe they can listen even harder by getting rid of this silly, nonsensical removal of don's altogether.

you obv did not listen closely enough. He made sure that he IMPLIED that it was not security related but that it was because of POOR FORMAT

There's a ton of 50/50 games running at the $10 level currently. No idea where you are getting 5 from.

Seriously the most tilting part of this whole thread, if you want to post 4 times in a row, just put it all into 1 post instead. Its so simple.

So much anger in here so I figured I had to add to it.

You're clearly inferring a meaning that isn't there. Steve would not have responded the way he did if dons were not being closed due to security issues. Read between the lines. There's a reason he danced around directly saying, "Dons are not being closed due to security issues."

Have fun leaving the US market this year Steve. You obviosiusly know it's coming. Pokerstars will soon join don's in the poker graveyard. U guys are sooooooooooooooooooooo done when congress gets around to issuing licenses and prosecuting unwelcomed sites. Your job won't survive on China and the terrible players in Spain. end of story.

Keep in mind, i never used to beleive this but in analyzing huge sampling of hands of good players vs. bad players it is amazing how much the bad players' variance is where it should be or better and the good players are consistently cold decked over time. They are so good (the really good players) that we can overcome cold decks and make profit over time BUT we would have made much much more if not for that. Stars talks about colluders when in fact they are the biggest cheaters of all. This site is rigged as a business model to keep players on it. I just went through my hand histories dating back a couple of years and when my comp crunhced the numbers the percentages were completely off. again, i've played 7 figures worth of hands so they whould have worked out to some degree reasonably speaking but they did not. scam!!!!! bring in regulation and get this filthy euro company out the door. Steve won't have a job in a year. lolololol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not very nice to call me an idiot. did i call u an idiot? you idiot! But i forgive. yes, stars is a total business model. It is baffling to me how as a regular winner, i brick flushdraws etc 100's of times more than the new players and less skilled ones. It is also amazing how they make their flushes 100 times more than me. I I use flush draws as an example since they are usually the easiest drws to make in terms of percentages. I went over my hand chart for various situatiuons (flushes, open-enders, big hands getting counterfieted etc and it is scary how dramatic the difference is from what the expected results over time are. I mean, it is not even somewhat close to not being ridiculous. I would love to see this site have their "card generator" evaulated by an independent company. The cards dealt in certain sistuations (not all..i do bel sometimes they lay off the doomswitch so to speak and it is random), but in certain spots depending on skill level of players involved in the had....there is something very very strange going on...DUH!!!!! I REALIZED IT ALL ALONG BUT SONCE I WON OVER TIME IN THEIR DONS (espeically considering in dons u stay of of the way so can avoid these sopts) I DIDNT COMPLAIN. On the other hand , i was a decent low stakes heads up multi tabler prior to dons and i started noticing that the better and better i got in hu sngs, the more my weaker opponents would consistently win every flip and make the craziest suckouts time and time and time and time again.

would like to add one more thing from my data. I played approximtely 1.1 million hands in involving coin flip scenerios (50/50, 48/52 etc). When calculated in total, my percentage in 50/50 spots (give or take a few percent), is about 81/19. Meaning i win 19 percent of the times im supposed to win 50 AND lose 81 percent of the time im supposed to only lose 50. explain that...keep in mind, 1.1 mill flips (big enough of a sample). in a random brick and mortor game those results could not possibly be that skewed and it shouldn't online either. it would be acceptable for them to be off by 5 percent but not THAT much. If u flip a coin 1.1 mill times, u would not have heads 830,000 times and tails 270,000. impossible.

It will be more accurate to gauge the 50/50 traffic after DoN's are gone.

it's gonna go up a lil for a few weeks and then around to where it is now. they are a bad format and will not sustain themselves. and they WILL NEVER get mid to high stakes traffic (20 and up) like the dons did primarily cause those players tend to be mostly good and with being good comes high intelligence. Any smart person will know that making a living off 50/50s will be even harder than making a living with 6 and 9 man sngs (virutally impossible...good side income sometimes but not to pay ur bills). Go look at the leaderboards for those formats and you'll see what I mean.

[ ] Believable

Why would you continue to play there if this was true?

How could you even still be a winning player?

Why haven't you made a thread about this and shown the evidence?

What was DON traffic like when they were first introduced compared to STT's? I'll bet DON's didn't get much traffic and STT's held steady until DON's got a good following. The same could happen with Fifty50's.

It comes off very childish to berate PokerStars for getting rid of the game you want to play saying immature things like they're going out of business and they are the worst and yadda yadda yadda when you'd be calling them the best thing since chocolate cake if they kept DON's. It's very transparent that you're lashing out because you're angry and don't know how to handle it like a mature adult.

PokerStars isn't going anywhere and there is nothing the US government can do to prevent them from getting a license if poker is legalized just like they can't prevent any of us from getting a driver's license if we meet all the qualifications. Some of you are just desperate or delusional or both.
