Not just ad hominems and non sequiturs. Seanysean ranted ad nauseam, and ipso facto, this thread suffered from a serious case of reductio ad absurdam. Probably only a matter of time before reductio ad hitlerem.

LOL Just cause you can't beat them doesn't mean that they are unbeatable. Any form of poker is beatable given that the competition is bad enough.

by beatable i mean beatable to a reasonable level. u go do the math...with those levels, rake, payouts they are for the most part unbeatable. i mean that as an overall avergage. everything is beatable over the short term. i would love u to go check stats/profits in 3 months of 50/50 grinders (if there actually will be any, lol, prolly not hehe). the format is unreasonable. It's so unreasonable that other sites will certainly never steal the idea as they did the don's. The fact that their are no high stakes (50 and above) 50/50s running speaks volumes. The players at that level are mostly regs and regs tend to be smart men/woman. If the regs realize the pitfalls of this format then it prolly means it's a lousy format.

Steve please read:

I think I probably speak for most DoN players when I suggest that Stars retain the DoNs and rake them slightly more, utilizing the extra rake to compensate Stars the alleged increased security hassle in dealing with these game.

Increase the $100+4 to $100+4.25, $50+2 becomes $50+2.15, and so on.

This would allow you to hire a couple more security staff dedicated to DoNs at no extra cost out of PokerStars pocket. DoNs are far and away your most popular format and there are tons of players, casual and professional, who have spent a lot of time honing their game for this particular format.

If you are a DoN reg and would agree to this compromise with Stars in order to keep these games, quote this post and add a +1.

Has Pokerstars figured out fifty50 and DoN's are NOT similar?
Just curious.
I once drove a Bentley, well the vehicle had 4 wheels, similar enough to be called a Bentley.

w.e dude. if we had "comrehended" the feb 14th post then they would be gone. nothing is set in stone. If pokerstars cares about having this group of player remain they will second guess thiss decision. So lemme guess, when blacks could not use the same b room as whites, u would have been someone who, instead of fighting it, would have said "dont u see the sign guys, whites only". dude, ur a tard.

First of all, I never even said I could beat the games.

Second, I don't care what you think of my poker game.

There is nothing inherently wrong with the fifty50 format. Yes, the rake is to high. Yes, stars should continuing offering dons if at all possible. Your argument is basically based off of "fifty50s are stupid and obviously aren't beatable even though I have no proof."

You really need to stop posting. You've cluttered up this thread with tons of pointless rambles. Make one post outlining your argument and be done with it.

As far as myself, i have already started 2 more accounts (cake for double ups and in case traffic doesnt increase if and when stars goes thru with this, i also started a tilt account for the first time in my life and will then play 9 man ring games there. I will never play on stars again if they do the feb 28 thing. And keep in mind, i was an everyday player. I played every single day for the past 3 years on stars. 50/50's are not an option for me. been there, done that and concluded they are horrible.

The Double or Nothings are going to be removed on February 28th. The sole purpose in delaying the removal was to give players extra time to adapt, as several had requested in this thread. The decision to remove Double or Nothings is not being reconsidered.

Will we get the full reasoning of this sometime in the future? There must be a really solid reason to not even reconsider keeping them after this show of support for them.

will I receive refunds for the collusion that happend after the chinese scandal?
because, I played a tons of then and received 2 compensations of 100, and both of the games I dennounce the collusion. If DoNs are being take away due to security reason, so it means I should have receive more refunds.

am I missing something?
