when you are playing really deep there is reverse implied odds of getting coolered. set/set, small flush/higher flush, etc. however i don't think they were that deep, maybe 200bb?

its just amazing how much more fun it is watch cash games on tv the tourneys. This line up is rather good thought pokerwise Eli should not be there. For me Eli has 2 many leaks and values hand very badly. Others are ofcourse world class even Howard who does play well even most here think he is just a nit i do not agree about that. If i should rank these 6 players as nl cash game players here is my list.

i dont understand why elezra tried to fire 3 barrels with 72 vs lederer on that super dry board in a limped pot. that was awful.

Ivey is quite the temperamental little girl in this show.

He needs to take a few chilax pills and lighten the F up.

let ivey be ivey, he basically is poker. if hes pissed off he has a reason to be and hes right, 2k is not enough for him to be playing some ******ed 72 game, make it 7k and i bet you any money hes in. iveys likely required to be in this game by ftp not on his own free will, to me he doesnt enjoy tv time and thats not always a bad thing.

as for eli fireing 72 on that dry board, why not do that, he just picked up 2 big pots and fired both times at those, table image imo, some of you people have no recollection of what poker is or how it is to be played.

patrik is by far the nittiest player at this table, he always is nitty, he just always hits and always gets paid, every single show ive seen him this is how its been, every big pot he wins he has the stone cold nuts, never makes many hero call downs and doesnt get much money in with even suited rags. if it works for him it works for him.

so far i love howards play on this show and i wouldnt be surprised if he comes out ahead, hes playing a style that can certainly beat and clashes with the other styles at the table.

for everyone saying they are playing cheeseburger stakes, you do realize they are straddling every hand, making the game basically 200/400/800... while its not 2k-4k, i'm sure they will start getting deep in a few episodes

i watched a hsp episode a little while ago where pa made an insane bottom pair call against phil laak for a monssssteeerr pot... plus even if that was true so what, isnt that the point? to make money off your nut hands, why try to outplay the best players in the world?

So Ivey thinks the 72 game for 2k is stupid. wowwwwwww big f-ing deal. It's an opinion. I think it's dumb too. It changes the dynamics too much and gives the nittier players a bit of an adv with it. Also Ivey hates hole card cams (I think read it somewhere) and generally doesn't like being on tv. Be grateful that you get to watch him play and stop complaining about every tiny little detail.

Also, calling PA nitty is one of the funniest things I've read in a very long time.

I think Ivey's seriousness contrasted with Dwan's goofy happy-go-lucky attitude. I agree with the above poster that it changes the dynamics of the game too much and wasn't favorable for him.

Howard played well this session, only one player misplayed his hand in the AA vs 88 hand and it wasn´t Howard. His only mistep so far was when he didn´t immediately jump on the 7-2 game since that would easily be his best game.

My biggest wish is for Ziggy to string a couple of pots together so he will get into his comfort zone, he is just so very entertaining to watch when he is at his most fearless. Just watch the Game on pokertube.
