Agreed. Howard managed to build a $30,000 pot with only $90,000 left in his stack. You'll rarely manage to get away from the aces correctly with such a shallow stack. His big mistake was having Eli flop a set.

They were betting props. Durr had Diamonds. When diamonds flop he wins money (if he doesnt sleep it, as he did later and quit doing them.)

Therefore, he's more likely to reraise a hand with two diamonds because there are less in the deck. With less in the deck, he can't win money on props and will owe the others when their props hit.

That's what he was talking about when he said that to Howard.

I did enjoy how he had the K2diamonds. Eli said something about the 3d4d x flop being bonus money if a 5d for a flop "straight flush." Durrr was quick to mention "or the 2d" while holding it. Not huge point, but sneaky sneaky

Uh I dont think Lederer played the AA well at all, with his PF raise and cbet knowing howards style it was pretty transparent he had an overpair

then with the board pairing on the turn vs a player like elezra he could have easily had a 9 there, c/call would have been a much better play... I mean what does Howard think he is getting called with an all in there?

Also as ive seen with Eli many times when he wins a big pot he reallly opens up his play and gambles much more, like the next pot with howard 3 barreling with 7-2

p.s can someone please explain the props so i can understand why dwan was so gobsmacked after the JJ vs AQ hand where Ivey said "whos diamonds anyway?"

Pure logic from Ivey, imo. With such a loose image, and with a much less likeliness of getting away with a pre-flop raise (or bluffs in general), this is a 100x better deal for Howard. Which Howard obv didn't understand, lol. At least not until later.
