I lol'ed... Ivey making fun of the way Tom says 'nice hand' every time he loses!

No he didnt...the dealer told him that they couldnt see his hole cards for like the 3rd time and he responded with "they couldnt see it..again?"


Also like Memoria said Tom saying nice hand and Phil kinda forgetting his Durrs name was kinda cool too...

I don't think Phil was trying to be funny. It looked like he was going to say Durrr or something else, and then decided to say his real name and had trouble remembering..... or just wasn't sure who said it. When you're the king, you have trouble recognizing the little ones.

It's more action with 500/1000blinds 200 antes. That awoke players patrik who's been playing tight.

Dwan runs well in the beginning and wins a lot. He's phenomenal. Now he's not so fortunate with the cards and he's not doing well at all. Not so phenomenal. Sahamies was getting nothing in the beginning. Now he's hitting some hands. Guess what? He's doing a lot better. He's getting fortunate circumstances.

This session over the last 2 weeks is showing a lot in my opinion. It's very interesting to watch.

Ziggy overbet the pot, both against durrr and Ivey...could have gotten paid off with smaller bets, but certainly had a good session, and played really well during the last hand.

Durr is a genius when things are going his way. Now they aren't and he just got outplayed by Sahamies. Sahamies is donk when he's not hitting anything. Now he's hitting and he's not a donk. Isn't that interesting.

this two weeks was best poker i ever saw on TV quality-wise and ivey is top top in everything regarding cards but that hand where sahamies isolated ivey with some random crap and ivey called with 22 was just another sign of being on, albeit playing sick good, a lifetime heater, because in most of the poker shows we ever saw where ivey called raises with small pairs/connectors to try to hit something big and win a big pot worked for him. he calls 22 against AK, AQ flop is 235 and gets elezra to give him 50k. then we see lederer fold 72s, ivey limps/calls huge raise with 22 and floats on a board that could get pretty ugly, especially against ziigmund who showed propensity to multibarrell with a wide-range and hits a 2 on the turn for a std ivey heater. million dollar cash game, ivey flops a small set against the wrong player, ept? ivey sees flop with 66 with some disguising plan preflop, etc. best player? probably. on a lifetime heater? definately.

gotta love howard and patrick immediately saying they had jacks on that hand.

Lol? How many hands that have been played by Phil Ivey have you actually seen? I have a feeling you've missed out on more than a million....Happy to see that there are experts out there that can detect when someone is having a lifetime heater. From what i've read Phil used to lose ALL the time when he first started playing at Atlantic City. Maybe playing live poker for a disgusting amount of hours really helps you become good? Just a thought.

small flush are mostly calling 100k, but prob not an overship

obv zig knows all this, so must have been a leveling war thing, cuz it seems like 100k bet has more value (or 150k since he seems to full pot it always)

Ivey never has a boat. The board is Jc Tx 4c 2x Tc.. Please tell me a boat he has here that he'd bet/call a c/r, call a pot size pot turn, and then have a boat on river.. maybe JT and that's probably stretching it alot.

Ivey's hand here is KQ(lol rarely)/ Flushs/ 3 tens (T8-AT) or Jx sometimes...

If Ilari checks, Ivey is probably check a J behind a fair amount of times, so he doesn't get value from them. If Ivey has 3 tens, he prob fires 75k and Ilari can c/r AI here. If Ivey has a flush, he fires 75k and Ilari c/r allin.

Ilari could have also bloat the river and bet 120k and get a call from Ivey with the same hands that Ivey would bet the river himself.

Shoving the river is the worst play Ilari could have made here.
