Lol, so many things wrong with this account of the hand I had to comment. Ivey was in BB, he reraised to 19k not 15k, Sahamies didn't check-raise flop -- he just raised b/c he had position. Probably pretty poorly played by Sahamies still, though hard to say for sure w/o knowing how much of ivey's range consists of air there.

Prop bets are mostly just for the flop, so you can bet on a specific flop i.e. K72, you can each pick a card as a floppair (if you pick kings you win on a KKx flop) , you can bet on suits, middlecards, 3 flush or 3 connected flops.

Well it's the easiest if you all bet the same amount on one prop.
Say you have a 6max game and you bet on the rank of the middle card on the flop for 1$.
The players take 2,4,5,T,J and you take the 7.
If the middlecard of the flop is someones rank every player has to give him one dollar.

Then you write it down like this:

Player A Player B Player C Player D Player E Player F
+5 -1 -1 -1 -1 -1

On the next flop player C hits his card:

+4 -2 +4 -2 -2 -2


You don't have to write it down.
You could also just give the one dollar each after the hand from your own stacks into his stack.


Just say "That's me!", "I see it!" or something like that when the flop is dealt and you hit your card.
You should make clear rules beforehand on when it's to late to announce it ( after flop action is complete or after the board cards are shuffled for example).

What's up with Howard cutting on the El Cortez? The EC is one of my favorite casinos. You get to play a weird 1-6 spread limit game with the former owner (Jackie G.) who lives in one of the suites. It's not the greatest location, but that casino has character. Snob.
