I just emailed the charity asking about any additional costs for a credit card donation from germany. There is a 6% administration fee already, and I'm willing to top up the 5k with whatever so that an actual 5k will reach the charity.
If there is gonna be a higher charge for foreign credit card transaction it seems logical to me that I get the money to some trustworthy australian or new zeeland 2+2 reg so he can donate it.
I am not sure how fast they are answering emails, I will keep you guys updates tho.

I live in Melbourne. I could literally go into the charity's office to make the donation.

I've sold packages, done player transfers, I was a donator myself for this fundraiser and I have a clean record. I could get some references to vouch for me. I'm a psychologist by trade and I'm very keen to see this money go toward helping youth mental health in my local area, as was originally intended.

Idk CrazyApproach but I'd feel confident sending 5k+ to Aliuantum from my experiences with him. Sounds like its something local for him as well, so probably the best candidate to do this. Just my imo.

I've known CA for years and would def trust him, though I'm aware that my vouch isn't worth much and my only real involvement in this is as a close friend of Dean, so I'd prefer to stay out of any discussions as to what to do with the $5k.

I'm fine with w/e, looks like charity was expecting the money so can't really back out now; if they weren't made aware of the money, I know both live@pompeii and myself (we donated >3k together) would want the money back and we would donate it to other charities ourselves, but that is out of the question at this point obviously and that's fine as well. I'm fine with Ali taking care of this, have bought action of his before and always seemed like a standup, reputable guy

Amazing how similar this thread is to all the other scam/roll threads in the MP. Person goes "missing", person has "personal" problems, all his friends vouch for him/her, buys some more time ill release a statement soon, finally comes clean that the money is gone etc etc. Not saying this is the case but but seriously how dumb can you be to think hes had the money in his possession for this long and couldn't do anything with it. Surely sending a message to LO or Marc sayin hey im xfer'ing u the money please do whats best would take less time then his post a few days ago and this would all be settled.

Glad to see that you guys have found someone agreeable to avoid the ridiculous CC fees etc, since I was mentioned I will say that I would be happy to help if needed as I have both nz/aus bank accounts. Fwiw CA if saves you fees I can take stars off you for AUD cash, no vig obv, pm if you need.

Yeah I mean, if I'm needed to help I'm happy to just withdraw from stars and ship to the charity. No fees involved afaik. If you were going to ship me cash for a stars transfer then they may as well just send to you directly I guess as I don't really see the difference in that instance.
