I just left the lucky street garage toward the orient road exit and no one was taking money.

I wonder if the new garage will take place of the current flat lot... According to a supervisor last night, he's expecting the new poker room to be up in December.

Whoa. A lot quicker than expected. Thanks for the feedback!

Rumor was there will be a separate tournament room as well. I'll be there tonight and ask one of the floor people.

No separate tournament room as far as I can tell. Bigger room same amount of tables. Supposedly they're offering food service once the new room opens. Based on the location it won't have an entrance that's directly connected to the casino. If so that's a real bad beat.

My thoughts exactly. That's why I loved where the old poker room was - on the casino floor. Eventually you get someone who went on a BJ run and would stumble in with a wad of big chips

ROTFL

made my day !!!!!!!

Anyone go there this weekend and have notice if they started charging for parking yet? Since the weather is supposed to be crappy, debating between Derby and the Rock, but I'll start my self imposed "On principle" ban if they started that $5.00 nonsense... lol

Really happy to see that. Food service + bigger and better TV's would be great.

Confirmed with a dealer that there'll be an elevator/escalator from the room up to the 2nd floor where you'll have to go back DOWN an elevator/escalator to the main casino floor.

The tribe apparently REALLY doesnt want true gamblers to play poker. TBH if I were in casino management I'd do the same thing if I didn't have competition from other casinos. Still, it sucks that someone will have to do all that "work" to play poker

Will the elevator/escalator lead exclusively to the new poker room, or will there be other amenities (restaurant) or gambling options that are also reached?

I believe it'll go from the 2nd floor parking garage on the south side of the casino down to the poker room. The new room will have their own deli and bar but it's not clear whether there'll be other gambling options in that area.

It's more and more clear that this place doesn't value our business, and takes full advantage of their monopoly status.

Are they sticking the poker room where the current bus waiting lounge is?

Didn't see this in the FAQ;

Going to be in the area for work this week. Can I be added to the list by calling in?

Nope. Even though lists are long at times, it typically doesn't take long to be seated at a $1/2 or $2/5 game.

Hi

A couple of q's from OP:

i) 1/2nl $60-$300. Usually 6 to 10 games going.
2/5nl $200-$1000. Usually 3 to 6 games going.

How many seats per table? 9? 10?

ii) Is the poker room 24/7?

iii) To confirm: $6 is max rake per pot?

Thanks
