My first point was that the person's name who got the seat, was below my name on the list, when I arrived. That should NEVER happen. The second point was the floor's explanation about how, "when you call in, your name (sometimes) does not "appear" on the list, until you arrive and check-in.s?
I have definitely seen this before, and even worse, going back months. Sometimes you can look and see a name on the computer, but if you walk over to the screen display it won't appear for unknown reasons.
I have seen this same thing two times I have gone there. There is definitely something unorthodox with the list/ calling in system. One time I was there I was first on list for 6/12OE, then all of a sudden I was 3rd on list. I questioned them about how I went from first to third, the desk woman gave some confusing answer and as I walked away she commented to other desk person and they both laughed. Another thing is the must move table, the main 6/12OE game is typically a regfest. The feeder game is where you want to be in my experience. You are supposed to move to main game as seriority at table comes due. For example, if seat 2 was at feeder game the longest and seat opens at main game, he must move over there. I have just joined feeder game on one occasion and I am 100% positive that I was by far newest at table and I was forced to move over to main game. There is definitely some preferential treatment going on at this place.

3 2/5 tables and 2 2/3 tables right now. Now, a lot of people are at Borgata today and this weekend but the 2/3 tables are definitely cannibalizing some of the weaker regs and players from the 2/5 games. Oh well.
As long as 2/3 stays 300 max I don't think it's bad for the room. 500 max would seriously hurt the 2/5 which would sadden me. I think they screwed up making the rebuy minimum less than 300. I think the game should have been 3/3 NL, 300min/max

That's not really the reason. Any time you wedge a game between a higher and lower, you're going to pull the weaker players from the higher and the stronger players from the lower.
If they didn't change the structure of the 2/5, I think it's pretty bad that the min buy-in at 2/5 is lower than the buy-in at 2/3. That would exacerbate the issue.
I played 2/5 last night, and while there were only 3 tables going, the action was great, A guy raised my flop bet with middle pair against my KK and called my shove cause I had raised him once before and he just knew I was bluffing this time.

I agree with you that 200 BB's is a different skill set, but A) you can just buy in for $500 at $2-$5 (effective stacks are effective stacks) and B) SPR wise, 100BB live don't play anything like 100BB internet games...

A) If you double up you are stuck playing with a bunch of 200 BB stacks.
At a 100 BB table you only play against a few if any.
B)With the larger pre-flop raises it's much easier to get your stack in with a big
hand.Against most live players I prefer the pre-flop power poker game.
Any one know what the 100 + 20 is worth tonite or how many runners , cant find any info in the search ,maybe im just dumb . And what happened to omaha ?
