is that really a problem? That means one limper and both blinds. After one limp, a complete then an option check, they'd be upset at only being able to bet $5 instead of $10? Of course not.

If you're saying that's the only problem, then it's a perfect structure.

There has never in the history of parx 1/3 plo been a 3 way limped pot. So its not a big deal

I'm saying, whats the point of playing the hand? You have stacks of at least $500, you flop the nuts and all you can bet is $5. Not exciting if you ask me. Since the game plays many times shorthanded, hoping more players will join the game, this instance happens many times and is one big reason for players pushing for the $5 bringin while playing 1/3 shorthanded imo.

Also, how is it a perfect structure in a pot limit game to be able to bet more preflop than postflop. Regardless if your first to open, you can raise at least $9 preflop, but if 3 players are in a limped pot, you can only bet $5 postlop. Seems wrong to me.

Worked out great. Game runs so0o0o much smoother now. We were also given the option to straddle UTG for $10.

I like how there is no info on the Parx website regarding this.

I think we should get rid of the $10 UTG straddle for the PLO game though imo. It makes the game wayyy too big. Other than that, the structure is pure genius!

Re: Parx Casino (Bensalem, PA) -- FAQ updated 2011.09.08

Why doesn't a HOSE or HORSE game go on weekends ? They had 2 tables of 6/12 OE and another table of 10/20 OE last Saturday.

Why not an 8/16 (or 10/20) HOSE/HORSE ?

Really hoping it was just an EP blind... Less confusing for newcomers coming in and do we really need to increase the incentive for people to people to play their button in Omaha?

I'd read on here that the bathroom situation had been improved, but when I walked in there tonight, there was a homeless man bathing himself in the sink. He literally had soapy bubbles all over his upper body. His face, head, and neck were lathered up good. The water in the sink was all gray and murky, and he was cupping his hands and splashing his face really hard. Water was flying everywhere, some of it hitting me 6' away. Nice way to top off a losing session, thanks parx.

Did you help scrub his back?

Seriously though, did you tell someone that works there about the problem, or just wait till you got home to complain on the internet?

Just curious... On average how many players does the Saturday $230 tournament usually get? Thanks in advance.

Ari tuned Freeroll levels down to 15 minutes. Not Cool! Total lottery. Needs to be changed back to 20.

I may not focus as much on hours next time around if 15 min levels stick for the monthly freeroll. Even though I've earned 15K starting chips.

How about a complimentary coat check? So the atmosphere is a bit more civilized and upscale... With winter approaching, there is gonna be a bulky jacket on the back of every chair.
