Agree. Played 2 brief sessions last weekend- never again. I'll stick to nlhe at fw from now on. Got it going Saturday about 11am, and it struggled. No pots, all nits save for two others, I just dumped them in and left to check into my room. Later, after my dinner and commitment in Providence, I tried the plo8, and it wasn't much better. Thankfully it broke around midnite, and I recouped at nlhe again.
The room really Ned's to try something, or a group needs to form and get a better game going. Pathetic.

I had a question about getting a hotel room there on a friday/saturday night. I have room discounted room rates for the week on all the hotels but nothing on thursday/friday/saturday. If I go and play poker all day what are the chances I'd be able to get a free room? Don't care about quality just trying to rest up a few hours before poker the next day. I take the bus down so driving to off site locations isn't really possible for me. Thanks for any help (trying to go in two or three weekends).

Hilton and Bellissimo both have free shuttles for guests. You may be able to stay there for cheaper. I would assume if you have a reservation you can take the shuttle first from Foxwoods to the hotel for check in.

Going to be up in Boston tomorrow and thinking about driving down to Foxwoods to play some 2/5 nl in the late afternoon/evening before I pick up my lady at the airport around midnight. Can I expect some decent and/or crazy action on a Friday evening? I live in FL and typically grind 2/5 games in Tampa and South Florida.

Just arrived at my hotel in Burlington and traffic is so bad on I-95 and 90 that it's not going to be worth my time to battle traffic to get down to Foxwoods for a 2/5 session before I have to be at the airport at midnight. Might have to do it Rounders style on a Sunday night or something (wait for my lady to fall asleep and then duck out) ��
