Possibly because many/most poker rooms employ chip runners.....?

The people playing foxy that know about chip runners are NOT the ones doing this.

I'm pretty sure last time I tried to buy chips at the window, they told me to just buy chips at the table.

Yes but the ones doing it as Big Whoop said are not the type to know about chip runners.

Yes I agree.

I will admit it's strange now to play somewhere that uses Chip runners like in Vegas since I'm so used to buying at the cage.

If they don't know about chip runners they likely do not know that it's common practice to get chips at the cage first

Exactly. Which is why I can't get mad at the new player but can express my disdain for this practice. If it's enforced by dealers it will help increase hands per hour and more rake for the casino. Its a win win for everyone.

Don't know if anyone has noticed but a lot of the chairs are not moving again. Wonder how long before they get fixed this time?

In the poker room, or upstairs at table games?

Anyone wanna get the 8-16 HORSE going tonight? Or as high as 20/40. I'm happy to start it shorthanded with someone and I'm sure it will fill if it's going.

If you are around on Sunday I'm down for any mix games, I'll play short to get it started

Found out that a manager at Juniors is a poker player. If you show your card, you get 10% off the bill. Just started on Friday.

The black card or even the regular poker card? Cause any patron can just walk downstairs and get a poker card.

That is probably the king or Ace card, because I'm a Royal and I think I get 20% off everything I purchase at the woods.

Royal gets 20%. Ace 15, king 10, crown 5.

Wow. So any patron there can just get 10% off if they pick up a free poker card first. Interesting.

Gf wants to see Jennifer Lopez in June. The tickets look pretty expensive and I don't want yo go to begin with. Will it sell out? Will I be able to get tickets under face value?
Quote

At those prices I doubt it will sell out. If there are a lot of tickets still available when the show nears they may sell for 25-50% off or something.

I think the floor wont spread mix with games that are running independently. So you're usually stuck with OE (and R i guess) at 20. Even getting HOE at 30/60 is difficult because management feels it has to protect 20 H and S.

Is there any benefit to getting a poker card instead of (or in addition to) the normal red card you get upstairs?

Does Foxwoods post the results from dailys anywhere?
