On Mon/Tue/Fri/Sat, they rake for the Progressive, but you can hit either the Progressive or the BBJ.

On Wed/Thu/Sun, they rake for the BBJ, but you can hit either the BBJ or the Progressive (if the Progressive wasn't hit on Mon/Tue/Fri/Sat).

I'm not a fan of the fact that you can hit Promo A on a day that they are raking for Promo B. But they do it both ways, so it's kind of fair

There are more than 20 hands between those 2, so not sure how the list of 20 is made.
The only way that adds up to 20 is if they count all non-Royal Straight Flushes as 1 hand.

I'd love to be in the room when the random hand is a straight flush and someone has A K and the board is Q J T 9 x and the floor says, "sorry, both hole cards play, you don't have a straight flush." (I'm assuming both hole cards have to play)

Yup both hole cards have to play. This is sort of like if the other guy holds 8h 7h here, no BBJ since 7h doesn't play.

Would they not recognize a Royal as a straight flush? It is a very specific one, but, it is still a straight flush.

No they would not. Per the document 4 posts before yours, a Royal Flush is a different random hand than a straight flush.

And from a very good source since I have a ton of connects at Encore, rumor has it dealers start June 3rd. While that might not be a grand opening, could be an example of “mock” night for MA Gaming to watch everything and make sure they’re “ready” to go.
Gaming Comissions in that area are kinda funny like that.

FW gonna ramp up their offers once Encore opens lol? probably be putting literal cash on the table.

The dealers begin training or begin dealing live games? I'd imagine there would be a soft opening prior to the advertised Grand Opening of June 24th so this timeline all makes sense.

Two diff poker dealers that were hired were asked if needed, could they be available late May if the casino were to open early. These two dealers were not together when they shared this info. I have no clue if they were being honest or if it truly is a possibility, just crossing my fingers because I’m so sick of foxwoods that I’m seriously considering not playing poker again until Encore opens.

The only place I’m banned from is Twin. I should just suck it up and write a letter but I am adverse to apologizing for something that I shouldn’t have been banned for in the first place

If you played at Twin River, you'd make a ton of money

I'm honestly OK getting nothing back and paying high rake to play in amazing games (e.g. LA poker). Recs don't care about the rake at all. It's not worth it to pay high rake for ****ing promos+meh hotel room 2 hour drive from my house all while playing in **** games. Also the room is a ****ing dump and so outdated compared to everywhere else on the East Coast except Twin but that place is special.

I'd much rather have high rake and promotion where everytime you flop set the dealer pushes someone's stack to you than some wicked high hand/hotel promotion and have some guy sigh call a small river bet with aces or fold them.

What is BSP? Which of the comps - 10 BSP, 10 PTS, or $10 free bet is best to use?

BSP is Foxwoods Rewards Points. They're 1:1 in most stores and restaurants.

As far as what's better? You can take a chance on gambling it up on a slot machine if you want. If you we're going to spend $10 in the casnino anyway, then you might as well take the points. The free bet is only on 1:1 payout bets....so you get $10 or 0. Go with the guarantee or the gamble.

Never never never take the free bet. Always points or slot play. Float please search the thread about this, it's been explained and analyzed a few times before.

Was anyone there for the 1st day of this "stuff". How many hands hit? How long did take? Thoughts?

Biggest was second to last. Quad 4s went for 3k. It changes the weird action from people limping AA to try for quads to people playing anything with the number card that could make quads. So when quad 4s is on that board, watch out when the turn brings a second 4. Someone is in there with J4o.

How large can the payout grow to? Does it stop at some point?
