To the kid on table 79 Thurs. night around 11pm/midnight...please accept my apology for blowing up when you called the clock on me. Outside of starting a fight, I don't think I could have reacted worse.

Does anyone know if TT has in room wifi included. Only reviews online say they had to pay to connect via wire. Wondering if i should bring my tablet.

Not long ago wifi was only available in the lobby, but the last time I stayed there, several months ago, I remember connecting in the room, so I assume it has been updated.

BTW, I will be down in the morning tomorrow until mid afternoon. PLEASE PLO folks help me get a game going around 10-1030, I do not wanna play Hold em, I am running so damn bad lately.

I have had enough When will these Lazy Dealer just Muck a players mucked Hand and push the pot to the winning player!!!! Yet again the Floor and the Shift..... Ruled its a retrievable hand? NO, that was "A Mucked Hand" ! You folded sir and You should not be able to reach over the Lazy Dealer and grab your cards! I Don't care if its the Best hand.... If u CAN NOT read your hand just turn it face up.... The Dealer will do it for you and if im in the game I will make sure he or she is right! Let's not slow the game down for 15/20mins for yet again for a Bad ruling from the Shift who only gets half the story because the Dealer Sucks and does not know what really happen because he was day dreaming or watching TV!

did you play in the 8/16 HOE or the straight 8/16?
if the later i may have been at your table
wild swings and lots of action
4 chip 8 chip structure injects action into the game

Was recently dealt the nuts on the river when the dealer forgot how many players were in the hand and burned and turned before action was complete....back into the deck it goes to brick the river for a small used car. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Lovely. It happens.

So, On the "current games" page, what do the M, L, H mean? And, the number in parenthesis; is that the number of tables, or maybe the number of names on the board?

thanks

From the FAQ located in the first post of this thread:

Quote:
The amount of points you earn varies by game. Each game title will be followed by the letter L, M, or H (example: 1-2 No Limit M). This tells you the comp level for that game. L = 1 pt/hr, M = 1.5 pt/hr, H = 2 pt/hr.
The number in parenthesis is # of tables.

Exactly what are you complaining about? Exactly where were his cards when he retrieved them?
You seem a little unclear on the rules and terminology.
Once you called his bet, you're at Showdown. Now he CAN'T "fold", verbally or otherwise. At Showdown (unlike facing a bet), saying "Fold, you win" is meaningless, and does NOT kill his hand. Pushing his hand forward facedown likewise does not instantly kill it. At Foxwoods (and this is NOT unusual), if he releases his hand facedown at Showdown, it is NOT dead until it actually touches the muck pile.
Yes, the dealer should insta-kill (muck) his released hand by pushing it into the muck pile. But until this happens, even if the player has pushed his hand forward facedown (and despite any comments he may have made), it is absolutely still alive and retrievable.
You called hm; if you're in doubt, wait for him to show or muck (and for the dealer to kill his hand) before you show.

Hand isn't over until you are being passed chips IMO. Even then sometimes it isn't over.

view: dealer pool (at least at 1/2) has not improved since the move to dealers keeping own tokes.

Regarding the player retrieving his mucked hand at showdown, there are several threads on that topic already. Here are 2:

I disagree with this. There are some dealers that are still ****ty and grumpy but they are few and far between. Most of the problems I have with dealers now, are the ones that they pull from the pit to fill in. I can only think of three dealers that truly do a **** job

IMO, dealer pool has actually improved a lot, both in attitude and speed.
But you cannot judge this based on tournament weeks and holidays, when a lot of inexperienced part-timers and table-games dealers get brought in.

How much cheaper is it to hire the traveling dealers than whomever it is they bring in for tournaments
