I know of someone who was robbed in J lot, in the middle of the night. Of course, the cameras couldn't make out the identity of the thief. Someone else was robbed in Rainmaker garage. In 2010, a guy in the 2 seat pulled a wallet out of the back pocket of a guy in the 3 seat. Cameras didn't catch that either =\ And I'm sure most of us know of the corduroy jacket's chips being stolen off of the table.
It's unfortunate but whenever you are dealing with money and people losing money, you will probably never know what another person is capable of. Look at the WhoJedi situation

ETA. The first time I was robbed, the police came and multiple security people attended to me. I was told that there are people in the casino who simply walk around preying on others. They don't come there to gamble or eat, they just walk around trying to find compromising situations and the random slot tickets that people leave
Ive never felt uneasy at the woods, but pretty sure I had a couple hundy chips picked in front of me at a crowded hot craps table...the crowd left and I noticed my black stack was much shorter despite only betting with green from the roght sode of my spot and coloring up every so often to blacks...won 7-800 but still not cool!!

thx for sharing!

def noticed MORE really dirty characters around there than usual... also went to use bathroom and game broke... the new dealer asked no question when I came back and racked up the chips and left... maybe he knew it was me but maybe he didn't.. would have liked if he asked to see my card at least!!

Got a safe box and will keep enough buy ins there to hold me over especially since I am going to take the bus more.

The latter can be quite a hassle for residents of MA and NY.

Chess regional tournament in town. Ran into 1.5 chess players who were pretty solid. A bunch of them were not terrible, but not good either.

If you mean carry as in carry your money on you. I'd recommend that. But you can't bring a gun into foxwoods if that's what you meant.

1.5 chess players huh?

I was at a table once with a reg whose belt buckle was a cutout metal gun. Security was all over him.

Well you may not be allowed to, but you certainly can. Better to be safe than robbed.

Staff was told today Fifth Street Cafe is closing. They are just going to board it up, nothing taking its place.

Wow, between that and the old tournament windows they have a ton of dead space in the poker room. It would be nice if they could try and move some of the tables away from those doors into the cafe area so we don't get stuck dealing with the smoke/cold blasts of air. Or at least make that spot like some type of players lounge, with a wifi upgrade!
The room is already pretty weak aesthetically, it won't be any better with a blocked up restaurant window.

I would be surprised if nothing went there. I don't know how long ago they redesigned the area with the separate cashier/ordering area but it couldn't have been that long. Perhaps they are going to start allowing food at the tables although I doubt it.

Do they still do a $125 tourney on Sundays at 11? I'm thinking of checking it out tomorrow. Anyone else? Anyone have any details about how it plays?

It's a $120 BI. 11am. (Used to be $10k GTD but I think the GTD might be gone). 15k Starting Stack, 20min levels. Link to structure sheet > http://www.foxwoods.com/uploadedFile...lk%20april.pdf

(they run another at 6pm)

I once got tenders from there that was definitely raw chicken. Never ate there again. I took them back obviously but that's not till after I took a bite into raw chicken.

Pizzeria Regina pizza > fifth street.

Good riddance I say.
