don't get your hopes up. If anything goes it's 1/2 H/L. There was a 1/2 High only list over the weekend but it never got more than 5 names. The H/L game looked atrocious.

I have never heard of PLO hi/lo. This was a true 1/2 PLO game. High only. I was at the table next to it and watched alot of the action. Fairly nitty for a PLO game.

If you put a 5/10 PLO it will catch on certain nights.

The PLO game is 90% of the time 1-2 H/L . (I start the list alot)
Monday night at 10pm they decided to start a 1-2 PLO H/L at stud table behind the full 4-8 Omaha game. It only played 6-7 handed then a couple of them decide they want to play 2-5 high only and went and started a table 4 handed. That didn't last long.

I stayed in 4-8 game where just about every pot was a kill and made $500.00 in an hour. Then I wimped out and sat out then left as the large pots continued.

This was after all the old regulars left and new people played.

We even had the rare DOUBLE kill pots last night
(side pot over 80 to one person, main pot over 80 to a different person)

.... please stop... j/k....not really... Those PLO H/L players are basically looking to get some fish into the game that don't understand the H/L aspects and 3/4 them in pots. It's the same group of guys every time, they pay the person calling games to say, "open seating 1-2 Pot limit omaha" every 10 minutes. Note they never say "high low", thus increasing the chances someone will sit down thinking they're playing high only. In fact every time I walk by, one of them will say "open seat!" to me, to which I respond with my "are you kidding me?" mean face. If these same nits would only make it real PLO we might actually get a sustainable game going at the woods. I mean it's so hard to get these people off their normal games. There are a lot of O8 players and tons of stud players, but OE or HOE or SOE or SHOE?? it's like pulling teeth. And while i'm ranting, can we stop with the multiple lists for the same game at slightly different limits? Having 15-30 OE AND 20-40 OE interest lists does more harm than good. Ideally they wouldn't let you start the second list, but that's asking a lot of your average FW drone.

2/5 or 1/2 PLO this weekend would be awesome

I have jumped in the game a few times, but it really is generally pretty nitty, and the guys that want hi/lo are generally so obnoxious to play with its not worth it.

If there is PLO high only, I am always in. Played it a few weeks ago with 6 others at its peak and made out with $300 profit in a couple hours. Also join the horse list but that never goes.

Always seems to get called around 9:00pm on Sunday after 80% of the people on the list have gone home.
