That's correct. It's a fixed 6 month period - Jan-Jun and Jul-Dec. Not difficult to get at all if you're a 5/10nl reg (2 pts/hr * 40 hrs/wk * 26 wks = 2080 pts)

1/2 - 1.5 pts
2/5 - 1.5 pts
5/10 - 2 pts

If you have a black card these are doubled... but the double effect doesn't count towards tier points.

That won't give you access anymore. You need approval based on play from your last 3 visits.

Here is where they list the benefits of the Gold and Platinum cards:

http://www.foxwoods.com/DreamCardRewards.aspx

Also those cards don't earn you more points. Only the Black card does, and only at poker (and it's pretty much the only benefit of the card). As Saul said, lounge access is based only on your play over the past 3 visits.

10pm tonight inquired about rooms. Granted they sent me free rooms for January which I didn't reserve, happened to be there tonight and whaddaya know, it's $199. I lol'd. All the comp rooms are sold out, only ones left are the $199 rooms, so I racked up and cashed out. Can't wit for MA to get casinos.

Ya this week was sold out a few weeks ago. I reserved 3 weeks ago and I could only get Two Trees for wed and thurs. I called yesterday morning about last nites rates and it was 199.

Each hotel has a Bell Captain in the lobby. You can store your bag there. No need to prove you're staying in the hotel.

If the rooms are empty at 10pm why not just comp me anyway? Instead they let me leave with 0 chance to make money off of me. Hotels would rather remain empty than occupied?

There's an obvious answer for that. Why would they comp u the room when it was about to snow and people change their minds last minute about driving home and will pay 199 to not drive home. Why in a business point of view would u give up 199 bucks to make someone else happy?

This. Not to mention a lot of people would be quoted a lower price than 199, and it's much more likely that these people would stay.

Also, there's an accounting cost per room. Will the expected profit they make from you exceed that cost, or exceed the chances of having someone want the room with a higher expected profit? They obviously decided no.

Exactly, as any business point of view, they're all there to make money. It's what every hotel/casino does.
