Best order at any restaurant in Foxwoods is the Kung pao shrimp and steak tips at Burke's! $18 app that is enough food to be a meal. Thanks to lattimer for the heads up.

Also, I was at maybe the best 1/2 table I've ever been at today. 3-4 people had a hatred for money.

I don't know what was going on last night, but I haven't seen the 2/5 tables as juicy as they were last night in a long long time. Reinvigorating for sure.

Close, but incorrect.

The best dish is Burke's Braised short rib, cavatelli, mushroom sauce, and truffled butter. AINEC

Confirmed by Prizm, IWSJ, and others.

The only time I went to Burke (usually go to Craft) I got this and was looking forward to the next visit to get something that was better. It was definitely good but I would be let down if that was their best dish.

Actually i really dont. The tourney starts on saturday and i think most people will have the mindset that if they are still playing come kickoff sunday the payout they are going to receive is worth missing the first half.

Played some 2/5 and 1/2. My tables were decent, nothing too crazy.

Yes, we started a 5 -10 RAZZ game around 6pm and it lasted 5 hours.
We did add STUD Hi/Low later so we played 2 games. R & E

We get RAZZ going every once in a while, don't be afraid to start a list
if this interests you as their's usually some regs around who like to
play something different.

Our beloved BRAVO system was acting up on Sunday and shut down for
a while with manual sign ins at tables.
This also happened a week ago on Sunday, when the server was down 10 hours with manual sign ins and sign outs.

I was dispached from our corporate headquarters in TX by private transporter to fix the problem and keep the incredible BRAVO poker management system alive. But unfortunatly the Foxwoods BRAVO system has decided it likes to take Sundays off.

I think for most they realize normally by around 4 pm of the next day they will be in the money and so if they bust they can still make it back for the game etc but if they are still in the tourney at that point it is worth not watching the game.

I can only speak for myself here, but I'm someone who typically doesn't play Sundays during football season b/c I like to watch football and drink beer most of the day. I try to target the $600 mtt's during each tournament series as ones I definitely want to play, I will not be playing the $600 this Saturday for the sole reason of it going into Sunday and the Super Bowl. There is one way I will play this Saturday. I'll show up probably around noon and if they don't hit the guarantee then I'll sign up. I assume they'll hit it, so just cash games for me next Saturday.

So yes, being on Super Bowl Sunday will keep at least me away.

yeah I should have said I don't think it will have any chance of increasing the number and will keep it from higher numbers because as you stated you are obviously a big football fan and many people have parties and such for the superbowl also.

that being said it guarantees 235 people
(Foxwoods does guaranteed prizepool as the $125k guaranteed being filled from $530 from each person or $600 ? )

Even if they do the rake then its 209 people.

Would be great to see it get to like 300 people

Guarantee comes from $530, not $600.

yeah didn't think foxwoods would be like the slimy florida rooms which deceive you into the thinking it is the prizepool not the overall buyin.

480 players guaranteed for the $300 that one should be awesome, too bad I got classes the Tuesday day 2

I would love to play Razz, I've never played it live though. I imagine it's a bit harder than playing online.

This + I'm getting tired of 30min blinds for the first 4 hours. Any talk of them making the mega's $600 40min blinds all the way through?

I'm going to hold out until the first $600 for the FPC in March. They give you 20k chips instead of 25k, but it's 50 mins from the get go. I remember one of the $500 megas back in Dec 2010 had the same chips/blinds. Anybody remember if last year FPC $600 had the same 20k/50min structure?
