Anyone considering taking a shot over the next couple of weeks?
Obv when I come down for my return/final hoorah, gotta play some 5/10 at the woods.

After 5/10 in vegas and borgata, I'm excited for this supposed "fun" game.

Isn't there also a playing requirement? Like once/month or something?

You have to access the box, I believe, at least once in a 60 day period

I do not know the exact time frame but you do have to access it regularly or they will close it(or at least, they claim that they will)

Definately good to know, thanks for the heads up. I'm assuming it would be like getting picked up from a table but regardless its good to avoid that situation altogether since if you are short money in your box it's your word vs. theres which could be a pretty sticky situation.

IDK if you remember me from a 1/2 game a few weeks ago when the BBJ was ~500k. Was sitting with you and oOch I believe.

I thought that might be you!

You were on my direct right at the table w/ that god awful lady who kept announcing she had me on a draw regardless of betting action or board texture

Oh YES! Fun times. I wish that I was still there when that old nit at the table berated me for an hour for shoving 46bbs with AKs.

So quick Q here.

If I book a room for someone and put their name on it. They can check in. The rep says that if I don't show up they "may" end up charging the people a different rate from the comp. Theoretically they wouldn't know whether or not if I showed up right? I am assuming they could just not even check out the next morning and the security deposit would just drop off the credit card as long as they didn't use cash obv.

I have heard of people getting rooms from people who play much higher than me and I know they weren't present. Just curious...

If it's a comp room you HAVE to show up at some point. Or that person will get charged whatever rate they would have if they booked it themselves.

Obv make sure you trust the people you are hooking up. I imagine you are on the hook for any room charges/damages.

I have done this before. I had booked a room for my parents. Desk said if I did not show up they would charge my parents card, but never did. In retrospect not sure if the deciet is worth the savings.

Made my first trip into Foxwoods today. I lost two BI, due to these hands. AA v QQ, guy spikes a Q on the river. Bye-bye BI #1. Six hours later treading water, had J9 on a Q-8-4r board. Turn 10, completing my nut straight. Bet back and forth, eventually AI, guy across the table has 10-10. River 8 puts me 2 BI down.

Although I lost 600, and felt a little bummed after going all in vs big stacks and losing a 2-outer and a 8 outer, the drink service was excellent and the dealers were top notch, better than the Venetian imo.

Yeah, you are supposed to open your box at least once every 30 days. After 30 days you get a notice in the mail, and somewhere in the 2-3 month window begins the time period wherein they are free to drill your box. If it gets to the point where they drill your box, your stuff is still saved to be given when you claim it, but your 50 dollar deposit is, of course, forefeit.

You must have been lucky w/ waitresses and dealers. They're not better than the Venetian.

I wake up in the middle of the night hearing "BEVRAGE" (spelled that phonetically).

The way the waitresses say beverages seems to put everyone in a bevRAGE(see what I did there)

On a side note as I write this a waitress yelled bevrage inches from my ear

my privileges got taken away because I didn't show up once for a comped room. Lost them+ my 15 points per week.

uh I didnt show up for my rooms multiple times because I forgot to cancel in time and they didnt take anything away except 50 points
