Used 27 comp points to buy a tic at foxwoods dream counter, turned it in at peterpan tic counter from worc to woods via peterpan bus. they give you $15 food/buffet/or $10 machplay tic and $15 keno or I think you can turn it in for $15 shot freeplay.
It costs me $20 to drive round trip so I think its a deal as long as use can use your points one for one.
My only question is parking, union station will charge you over $8.00 to park so I went over to med center and parked for $4.00 and walked over, bout 5 minutes. Anyone know a better place to park?

Look at street parking around Shrewsbury St and the adjoining streets. A lot of it is "resident" parking, but I've never been ticketed in all the years I've visited friends in the area.

At any dreams rewards counter, I just asked for a peterpan round trip from worc to fox and they issued me a 'line run bus comp motor coach line run voucher' for 27 comp points looks like their good for sixty days, bought another and it says expires 10/1/11. You take it to the bus ticket counter inside terminal and they exchange it for the reg 4 piece ticket, thats it. bus leaves 8;30 am arives at fox around 9:30 they issue the comps as you get off bus, leaves fox at 4:30 pm, gets to worc by 5:45...easy peasy

To be fair, any days competition he could probably run over.

5/10+ NL is the home of getting your $625 river bet snapped off by AQ high.

Nobody runs over our game. Although there are quite a few hilarious attempts at it.

I think that I am going to side with Kevin on this one. A guy who has $2 million + in tournament cashes can probably run over any 5/10 game

You going to get back into the grind soon? I enjoy banter from Beata and Jpsych when they're at the same table. I see that combo, I want to hop on it.

Disagreed, if only because people do not like to fold and will call down with stupid hands because of the whole metagame theory.

Of course, with everyone talking about how our game plays, you all must be regulars in it. Right?

I feel like the 5/10 game has gotten a lot tougher in the past several weeks. Is this common during the summer? Are all the fishies on vaca?

Or you know, instead of calling down, shoving AI w/ 88 and binking an 8 on the river.

I had to go there.

Luck paid me back by giving me 2 set-over-sets followed by missing a 15-outer all within an hour span.

But the point is this, talking about 5/10 and its dynamic without playing in it regularly does not really make any sense.

Yea, I hear you. I wasn't dissing the dynamics of the game as the only 5/10 I've ever played was at the Bellagio. I was more giving credit to Jarvis and how good of a player he is.

Granted I've only played like 40ish hours of the 5/10, but I liked it more than 2/5. Maybe it was just the tables I drew, but people REALLY hated to fold.

Tourney success = cash game skills?

Not always, but I would tend to think that someone great in tourneys is a good poker player period. The question is, does he care to try in a 5/10 game.

Hopefully. I have Lyme disease. And so far the medication is making me feel worse than the illness.

I consider myself a pretty good tourney player and subpar cash game player. I can admit that.

the 5/10 at FW is a relatively tough game. it is also one of the softest regular 5/10 games in the country. it is infinitely softer than the 5/10 games at the rio that run during the series.

wrt jarvis, lol donkaments

It used to be a much softer game when the 10/20+ NL ran on a regular basis. Apparently, the 5/10 at the B is a easier, as well as the 5/10 at Borgata, both largely due to the higher limits regularly spread.

when bigger games run, FW 5/10 becomes probably the easiest game in the country. that's all I am gonna say about the player pool.
