I just left around 330 and the highest was 150/300 with all the regs that play that game.... They were tring to get a 50/100 mix going???

1/2 PLO8 was a good game with lots of action

Nice evening. Busy. My first table was nuts. Had an asian kid raising and squeezing every pot. Won a buyin only playing 3 hands.
Went to dinner at David Burke with o0ch. Kung Pao shrimp and beef is the bomb. Still prefer Craftsteak, though
Went back to the poker room and dmbfan was not ready to bowl, so I sat down at a stud table and donked away $30 while waiting for a 2/5 seat. Sat down, decided immediately that I was too tired to play, ordered a mountain dew(no energy drinks) and while waiting, got AA in SB. Win a $200 pot. I leave a few hands later. So, up $700!
Met gotf. Poor guy had to sit next to the hairy, goldchain wearing yeti.
NIce meeting DMBfan and gotf!

Ruling at 2/5 NL. Sunday, at Table 81.

On the turn, two players check, the third player Mo says, “Xxxx Check” while grabbing a stack of red, then he says, “one hundred”. One opponent complains that he said “check”. Mo claims that he said “No Check” (I don’t think English was his first language).

It didn’t seem like Mo was trying to get a reaction. Everyone heard him say something, but nobody was certain what he said.

Floor’s ruling:

$100 bet stands, both opponents fold, Mo mucks his hand.

Sounds like floor went with intent, which is fine by me. (fixed your spoil tag)

Since I can't send a PM yet. I just want to say to Jpsychlady that I NEVER put you on a flush draw. If I did then I wouldn't have chased. I figured 2 pair for you and a set for the other guy. Also, if I didn't have the nut draw probably would have gotten away from it.

The elderly guy who plays 2/5 pretty much every Saturday and has very poor english and doesn't know where he is; sneezed into his hand. Very wet sneeze. Refused to go wash them or use the hand sanitizer. The whole table was grossed out.

Very nice meeting you too J. Perhaps we can have dinner together with you group sometime.

Wohoo, free room available tonight, back for more omaha action today and tomorrow.

Can't get enough of that game of the future!

just curious if i played with anyone from the thread in the 1/2 games on friday evening. you'd remember the table if you were at it, i got paid off quad nines (and we all got bummed out since if he held the 2/5 of hearts we would have hit the BBJ), then a couple orbits later losing a large pot TO quad nines...

balding guy in my early 30's, well built, blue hoodie and a brown sesame street teeshirt. hopefully i can sync up with some folks next trip i am able to make.

I was in line to buy chips when next to the table when it happened. I couldn't hear what he said either, although admittedly I wasn't paying attention until the shouting started.

If you have any play on your card during the past 6 months, you're not eligible.

wow I will def be there! I am sure the cash tables will be absolutely infested with bad play

Got home this morning after playing in the 500$ No limit FPC yesterday, I took 44th place (I think 19 people from the money). Blinds 1200/2400 I was UTG with AT suited, sitting with around 10 bb's so I obv ship and get called in the BB by KT off... king in window GG me. Over all a good tournament with a great structure, also the quality of play was insanely good, especially for tournaments.

I went to burke w/ jpsychlady and had an amazing meal, kung pao shrimp n beef is def the absolute best app that burke has, I recommend it to anyone who goes to burke! I can't wait for the corn to come back on the menu, it is their best side by far.

During the tourney we only had a 1 hour break for dinner, so a few of us tried to go to cedars. After waiting for our food for 20 minutes we asked the bartender where our food was and he replied with "don't ask me, I don't cook it!" I will never be going to cedar's again....

yea I agree the quality of play was miles ahead compared to the 600 on Sat. what table/s were you on?

I started on table 2 got moved to I think table 8 (I was apparently seated right next to a well known mtt pro, which made things tough) then busted on table 13. I'll def be playing more mega stack events in the future, I know I can win one if I just get a decent run of cards.

What place did you finish in/ which tables were you at?

Cedar bar is good but can be tough when in a time crunch.

That sucks. I played for a couple of hours a few months ago, and I'd love to play this tourney, because I'm a glutton for being sucked out on.

Was on table 6, finished like 90th. I sucked pretty hard early and never recovered.

Really? I haven't played in a year. I wonder if they'd look up my 30 hours a week from 2008.
