Not a big fan of playing into the wee hours of the morning but had a 400 plus pound guy in the 10 seat at 2/5 who was fantastic for the game. I couldn't leave with him having over $2500. He kept smashing stuff on everyone. Nut flush into the 2nd nut flush. Rivering 2nd pair while calling someone down with mid to bottom pair. Thankfully, I was in the black against him.

ya the 400s and below suck, they remove 75/150, 150/300 and 500/1000 while also being only 40 min levels. blinds run up on you super fast.

I was at that table.

Anyway, I'm 2nd in chips with 916k going into day 2 of the 400$. 19 left, 28k for first.

Does anyone have any idea how much the internet access in the hotel rooms cost?

It's free, it's included in the resort fee.

congrats on another deep run, two trophies in one series would be amazing.

Packing now to get there this afternoon, watching Beata streaming right now,

too bad we don't have a 2+2 gang sign you could flash each time you take down a pot.

2+2 rooting for you!

Played last night. Sometimes I think that these tournament series are a blessing and a curse. Obviously it is nice to have different players in the mix(esp tourney players who are not that great at cash) but the variance can be so high. I played more than ever this week, 5 days, 35 hours and due to 3 breakeven sessions, only won $1100.
That is comparable to my norm but with playing 15 extra hours

I met another 2+2er last night. The Mind Reader(Jay) Very nice guy. Saw me at my worst. Not playing well and grumpy to boot. Cracked my AK with Q3s. Standard.

Will be taking Mon and Tues off so that I can catch up on sleep and be ready to go on Wed. Hope that the action is still there!

You saw me at my worst too, building my $500 buyin up to $900 and then giving it all back instead of either leaving ahead, or leaving when I got back down to $500. It got late, I got tired, but I kept playing anyway till I lost it all.... woops!

How bad are the games usually on Mondays?

Beata Wielgoszewski moved all in for just over 200,000 before the flop with 8♥8♠ and was called by Patrick Kelly holding A♦9♥.

The board ran out K♠T♣5♥J♦9♠ and Kelly caught a nine on the river to pair up and eliminate Wielgoszewski in 8th place for $3,504.

I had heard a rumor from a few patrons that starting in April having a gold/platinum card would no longer grant you automatic access to the lounges, but that access would be determined solely by your play during your last 3-4 visits. Lounge access is no longer listed as a gold/platinum perk on the website, so it may be true

Platinum also removed the comp rooms on Friday and Saturday from the website.

The lounge access does not bother me, as 5/10 players routinely get in based upon the record of play...but it looks like they are indeed scaling back. Either that or lowering the pool of platinums in order to sweeten the comp quality?

Who gets comped rooms on weekends if platinum card holders don't? Is there a level above platinum?

Who do you see if you qualify for lounge access?

They can tell you at the podium out front of the lounge.

April hotel room comp offers have been out for about a month now on the website, at least for me (platinum). No comp room nor points/events offers for May yet.

I'm a $1K a hand bettor playing baccarat and pai gow, so if they take away Fri/Sat comp room offers or lounge access, then f*** them, I'll take my action elsewhere.

To make the Diamond Elite level, you must win or lose at least $100,000 (table games or slots) within one calendar year. When you exceed either threshold, the host will upgrade you. Of course, the majority will qualify based on the latter.

I assume the $100k win/loss is net and not gross? <in before 100k loss IS gross >
