So kevin is your friend? Yes, that was me. Please teach Kevin about pot odds. TYIA.

Orly? He told me he had to call $500 to win $1700, and if you had what you told him you had, he was 30% overall and getting laid more than enough to call with the NFD there

His first mistake was calling $140 more onto a $220 pot with his flush draw with 2 people that had shown intense aggression. Also the numbers I ran were not those

I've been a long time lurker and been meaning to join. When I get called out I'll join I figure. Called out I am.

How were they not those numbers? I had $1700 in my stack after the hand. And the calling $140 more was a borderline move. I'll admit that was a harder spot than calling the $500 bet that inevitably followed. My reasoning for it (not that anyone has to justify their play) was Jpsychlady WILL push behind me everytime. And if the original bettor calls that I'm getting great odds. Instead after jpsychlady pushed, he shoved putting me AI for $500. At this point, it was a $1200 pot with $500 to call w/ a NFD.

My question for Jpsychlady, what did you think I had? You could never think your flush draw was good in this situation, as I was stringing you along.

BTW, some of you probably have played with me. I typically wear a black patriots cap with the old logo on it. I mostly play 2/5nl.

These posts are probably going to be deleted as we are not supposed to talk strat in this thread. I knew where you were. I also thought that you would not call with a flush draw. The odds that you think that you were being laid were only good if you were up against 1 pair hands and you had to know that this was not the case. You are beyond a level 1 thinker so you had to know this. I pushed because I figured that seat 9 would shove to get a fold from you. With my stack, getting it in with a pr and a good flush draw was a good spot, with yours, not so much.

BTW, I was 3/4 of the way joking about the pot odds comment.

This Sunday o0ch had a fantastic idea of having a 2+2 bowling game/match at High Rollers. Time is still up in the air but would love for as many to come as possible.

Clearly the only solution here is HU 4 Rollz! Usually $10k Fight Yo would also be acceptable but that'd be unreasonable considering Big Whoop probably fights more like a lady than you do

In other news, my table got a good laugh when one of the more lovely servers walked by and I disagreed with my friend who thought she was pregnant, but he said loudly enough for her to turn around when he said "well someone knocked her up, hope they put a ring on it"

And cue trolling warning/ban in 3...2...1...

Played from Wednesday around 4:30 and just got home, with not much sleep in between...played 1-2 for an hour and after doubling up played in the 200 Bounty Deepstack, 8 paid out, i took 6th for 550 profit after bounties. Played 2-5 after and won a huge pot with QQ when I check raised all in on the flop of J63r for 530 more on top of the 175 bet and got called by AJ and held for a $1600 pot..won a few more nice pots and called it a night around 8AM. Played 2-5 during the day, and then played the $180 deepstack, which had $1,500 overlay, ALWAYS GREAT!!..Took 8th for a little over 700. Played 2-5 after from 330-930...ROLLERCOASTER session, I was in for 900 when I got a full double up to be up a little bit, then this hand happened....
I flat call a raise of raise with K6dd on the button, 3 ways to the flop. Pot $115. J64cc..he bets 65, call and I call. Pot $300. Turn 8x, he bets 85, fold and i flat again..Pot $470. River 7x for J6487 and he leads 250 into 470, and I called to scoop the 1k pot with 4th pair on the board...lost a 2k pot tho a little later with 99 on Q92, shoved on the 4 turn and he had QQ...all in all a great trip and I'll be back Sunday for the $400. I was wearing a Red throwback Patriots jersey #60.

I'll shoot you a pm a bit later. Since strategy isn't ideal for this thread. Nice formally meeting you btw. And I look forward to many more poker convos in the future.

Games were not that good tonight. So I split early and shall return tomorrow. Maybe I'll play the $600 mtt tomorrow, I just don't get out the door till after it starts. Shall see.

Unlike what I said last week before deletion, I won't be here sunday. The way my schedule is going, 99% of my time down here will be fri nite to sat nite only.

Played about 8 hours tonight and things were good, except for my results! Game was good, fun and interesting people. The casino was packed, took about 20 minutes to park because rainmaker must have been full since it was closed when I arrived and GP garage was pretty full as well. Poker room was not too crazy though, I sat down immediately at 1/2 and it didn't seem like there was a list too often.
There was a big fight around 2am outside the doors in the smoking area by fifth street, not sure what happened but it woke up the room that's for sure, it kind of felt like high school.

You plo high only players must be in very happy. Second day in a row that 5-10 plo high only has been running.

A bit out of my bankroll, but would love to play it 2-5.

Also, i noticed early a 1-2 h o game, is that rotation hold em and omaha, hold em and o8, and are both games nl, or is the h nl and the o pl?

Is the bowling happening tomorrow, i would like to me the other posters?

I definitely like your 1-2-5 suggestion. I just played PLO with that blind structure on Friday at Ocean's 11 and had a ton of fun. I agree that getting the game going earlier in the day helps. I usually just play at Fox on Saturdays. PLO/PLO8 never seem to get going.

The is currently a game running 5k-10k H.S. S8 plo.

What game is this? what would the ante be in the plo part? bring in in the stud part?

Do they have a full table? must be one crazy game

5k-10k running at foxwoods? Are you sure about that? The highest I've ever seen is 50/100 nl or the 150/300 stud, 5k-10k is a gigantic leap from that.
