I don't like the 10/20 structure for stud games, but I'd play 7.50/15 (pink chip) or 15/30. Start lists and I'll add my name.

They need a third man walking rule in that game. I don't play in it that often, but several times I have been moved to the main game from a must move, and when I got in the main game it was not going because there were 7 or 8 walkers. Who wants to pay a ten dollars an hour time charge to sit around while everyone is smoking or playing the horses? I realize a third man walking rule is hard to enforce, but in some games it is necesarry.

They actually are good about giving a free round when the game has broken down for awhile, but it is still frustrating, and I would support the third man rule as well.

Third man walking rule is what exactly?
If you are the third person to leave your seat, the floor can pick up your chips and offer your seat to the first person on the waiting list after 10 minutes?

The rule could vary slightly by room, but that is pretty much it.

I definitely think the Borgata has the best regulars in Atlantic City precisely because it is the nicest and biggest poker room, and (most importantly) has the largest game selection.

That being said, I don't think more than a few of the regulars are actually any good, but if you take the 10 best players from Borgata, they're going to be better than the 10 best players from everywhere else in AC combined.

Very close but not exactly easy. It's about a 30 minute walk around the marina area or about 5 minutes if you don't mind ignoring the 'no pedestrians' signs and dodging fast traffic.

update

I was wrong about there being only two games when I came back. Apparently there were 3 and I helped start a 4th. HOWEVER the people in charge of the 3rd game didn't know a 4th had started, so all they saw was an empty list, which caused the 3rd game to break.

So ya, chained must-moves are just fail all around.

so it is no different than me playing sunday afternoon at DEL Park with a majority of regs at my table either running for top 10 hours of the month or another who is a regular at the pink chip at harrahs or typical nits/rocks who i can outplay when i sense weakness

no matter the place you can get into lol 1/2 and 2/5 games anywhere, and I distinctly remember getting into a late night shoot-out game with a drunk German guy on vacation at the Borgata.

I'd say in general the players are better overall at the Borgata than say, Harrah's Chester or Tropicana or the Taj, in my opinion. From what I remember I just thought I ran into tougher tighter games there than other casinos.

More problems with the must move system today @10/20
Players are getting seated at the game inside the high limit area when there is a feeder game on the outside. And the floor moving multiple players when only one seat is open in the next game.

Just missed the bad beat. Tough to call though. 1/2 Tight player in early position makes it $12, player two seats after folds 5/6 hearts. Flop comes 8h9h10c, short stack pushes all in for $51 with 10hJh, tight player calls, I have AKh, and push for $102 more, tight player folds AA, 7 heart on the turn. Not sure how the 56 coulda gotten there given the hands, but damn, it sucked to miss out on that.

It was for real, intelligent asian kid, he plays rarely and didn't realize there was a "bonus". Was kicking himself for losing 88k, even said it was -EV to call $12, until he found out the BB was $219,000

Anyone have an estimate on how long the wait list is for a box? Getting annoying to have to slow down a game to buy chips on 10/25 and getting stared down by everyone.

some people have very small rolls and play super tight...not everyone would call 6xBB raise with suited connectors.

i understand wanting a box, but why not keep a few larger chips in your pocket to rebuy with?
