No I'm being totally serious, the guys were talking on Saturday about a certain regular in the main game who they have agreed is the best player in the game. And they used that example as evidence of his skill.

hamsamich, you make very valid points. IMO, you should always deal to a stack that does not have a button unless that person says "give me a button".

Even in a raked game. If you paid your blinds, you are entitled to your "included" hands. I think this should happen in every game, but ESPECIALLY in raked games. So what if a raked game deals in a live stack where the person is not sitting down? I don't understand where that becomes a problem.

Your point of changing the rules depending on the game makes perfect sense. But what if in every game in the casino, if you pay your blind or ante, you get dealt in until you get a button? Wouldn't that make everything easier?

Personally I don't get the ruling. Who cares if you get dealt in if ur not at the table. You can't see what you had anyways wtf is the difference?? I know at my games the dealers know if your just standing up to stretch or you are going for a walk and they will deal you in of your right next to the table. And even if you don't get dealt in oh we'll there's always next hand.

All in all, If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Valid point. But I can't tell you how many times... literally about once every 3 hours or so... that a dealer doesn't deal me in b/c i was standing somewhere close, but not at the table. Or they simply look in the general viscinity, and deal aroudn you. Or I dash for the bathroom UTG +2, (i wash when i'm not in a rush, otherwise, purell hand sanitizer at my seat does just fine) only to get back after the dealer has dealt to a player in MP and I can't get my hand. Or I just missed my BB getting dealt in, so now I can't buy the button (AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT SUBJECT THAT I WONT GET INTO HERE) and I have to wait to post after the button (b/c it's a time game)... Anecdotes for one side of the argument can always be matched with anecdotes from the other side of the argument. Neither of us is necessarily right or wrong... I simply feel that when a player pays his blinds, he is entitled to receive a hand until he misses a blind.

In tournaments, you can play hands in which you are not in your seat at the start of the deal as long as you are at your seat when the last card hits the button.

I can understand justifying the same rule for a cash game.

Whoever came up with the names for these new games sure didn't do a good job of it. Badeucey I had heard of, it's a combo of Badugi and deuce to 7 triple draw, kind of makes sense. So then Razzdeucy should be a combo of razz and deuce to 7 triple draw, right? But no, it seems to be a combo of razz and badugi with no triple draw in the game and no "badugi" in the name.

I enjoy playing razz, badugi, and triple draw, but honestly having all these different combinations just seems pretty silly.

strangely, right when I get back from a trip, my offers are always worse (like I almost always get Sun-Fri comped, but right now basically none of my fridays are comped). A week or so later they go back to what they were before. My solution was to book my next trip before I left, so Im already set for april (and I could always go to Stan if need be, but I try not to pester him too much). Im assuming their reason for setting it up this way is some sort of info their marketing department got from their data mining.

I'm surprised they didn't use the QT hand /shameless-brag

srsly though, I'd love to know who they're talking about as I can't think of any people who are that aggro except me

And Chillrob, who the heck are you anyway? (PM me if you want)

I'm the guy always wearing an open shirt (often with a Phillies t-shirt) and a backwards tweed flat cap

Not there so I don't know but according to Bravo there is now a 600/1200 game which I assume was the 500/1000 AND there a 200/400 mix game running at the same time.

Das sum sereus cheese man.

I don't remember any queen ten hand except for the one that old Rita bluffed me on. Are you a 90 year old woman?

Any 90yr old woman on the internet is invariably an FBI agent.

Sheesh, people on these forums are way too interested in my apparel. Kindof creepy tbh (and ego boosting )

Anyway, I would never call Rob "Lunchbox". I "try" to maintain a very strict policy of not insulting other players ever. (because otherwise I might scream at them how bad they are at poker and thats never good). In my head I just think of Rob as that guy who wastes a perfectly good chair to hold his lunchbox.

Pejorative? Doesn't that mean bad? They told me "Lunchbox" was a term of endearment!

Razz-Dacey and Razz-Deucey
There is no triple draw since both are 7-card stud games. Dacey (A-5) and Deucey (2-7) are the Badugi part in the name.

so if I understand it correctly, then Razz-Dacey is basically what has been played and called Razzdugi..split pot game of Razz and Badugi played 7CS

But Razz Deucey would be 2-7 Razz and Badugi?

But what does the premier mean? Have these games just got approved? Or just that they will be played for first time?
