I was there. Can you guys wait one minute after the fish leave next time? It's impolite to demonstrably get up a split second after the fish get up.

Sorry, but I have literally never seen this occur in any card room I've ever been in. Not saying that it never happens, but that "most often" is pretty much a gross overstatement.

In my experience, I've seen the table started short only once, and that was after the players banded together and pleaded with the floors for a long time. Somewhere out there there is a great resistance to starting games short.

I've started short games at B where players refused to play, so I told the dealer to not deal them in until they were ready. We played 4 handed for a round before the other 2 players got their heads out of their behinds and decided to play. Floor was nothing less than enthusiastic about getting the game going. I cannot tell you how many games I've sat waiting because 6 players aren't enough for those seated. The only time I've ever seen floor not aid in opening a new game is when they're a little slow opening the dealer's rack. But when there are 84 other tables in the room, I suppose that's understandable. Yes there is often a great resistance, but it is frequently the nits at the table not wanting to play anything less than 8 handed.

The thing about PLO is that mainly young online guys are itching to play it. Therefore, more often than not they're ready to go no matter what.

YouFold2Me....you were the guy on friday with the FTP cap & Mets jersey. I was the nitty player to your immediate left with the Yankees cap. I still finished down $70 for the session. I thought you played very well & aggressive.

I wonder if Dima was the chubby guy wearing all black or the uber-nitty balding guy sitting next to the backwards PIrates cap guy. ALso i never knew JJ88 was an all-in hand, felt bad when your AAxx got cracked.

Uber-nitty balding guy is a description that fits, so that may have been me. I don't recall sitting next to Pirates cap guy, though.

I've definitely had experience with floors not wanting to start a game short. It's probably still the nits' fault though.

The floors seem to think that nobody wants to play short (because of how vocal nits are about this) and that the game will break quickly if it is started short, and thus are more resistant to get it going.

Some of this might also be laziness, because now they have to start a new table, and may have to reclose it in 30 minutes.

On a somewhat off topic note, I'm so sick of people complaining to the floor when our table has one open seat. FFS, play 9 handed for a while and enjoy the extra space. You can still sit there and fold everything but QQ+

Just picked up a card yesterday. To sign in for the first time do you click "get a password"? The account # is the 9 digits on the front of the card I assume? I get an error message when I enter that and my birthday.

I was sitting next to the Pirates cap guy on Friday night from like 7-9:30. Was in for like $160 and won 1 pot over 2.5 hrs. Fun game!
